Descansa Percherons are popular entries in many local community parades. These horses are asked to be in many parades and are traffic safe. Above left a four horse hitch driven by John Billings carries the Grand Marshall for the Springfield, Missouri 2001 Christmas Parade. This was a position of honor for the Descansa Percherons. Above right the horses are pulling a medieval castle, with knights and ladies in a local parade. Below is an 1800's Christmas scene with John Billings driving a unicorn hitch. At the bottom is an example of a St. Patrick's day entry in a local parade. |
