Descansa Percherons assist in the farming that is done at Jade Hills Farms. This horses help rake and haul the hay that they and the cattle eat at the farm. Shown above are hay hauling crews loading hay on to the hay wagon so that the horses can pull it to the barn to be unloaded. Below John Billings is driving a four abreast hitch that is raking the hay to be baled. At the bottom a two year old team is raking the hay to be baled. Descansa Percherons are often seen pulling wagons of supplies around the farm. They carry feed to the cattle and fencing supplies to fence repair/building destinations. |
