| Introduction Boys’ Brigade 9th Singapore Company, founded by Rev. Cecil McSparron in 1972, at its Sponsoring church located at 2 Dundee Road, Church of the Good Shepherd (COGS). Now parades were held in Westwood Secondary with 9 officers and 18 Boys in 2001. With the strong support by the principal and teachers, the company saw a healthy increase in the number of Boys to 50 in 2003. The Officers' Council headed by Mr. Ivan Ho and Mr. Wong Sai Ho hopes to see the Boys grow in character that is anchored to the objective of the Boys' Brigade. Year 2003 also saw the Officers and Boys of 9th BB involved actively in community projects like Sharity Gift Box and BB Cares. Their first National Bible Quiz participation since 1997 also saw 9th BB coming in as champions in the West District. Now we have 7 Founder’s Mans (the Highest Award a Boy can achieve in the BB) in our company. |
