Monique
is committed toward unifying the Student Government body,
promoting
diversity amongst students, and raising awareness of SGA’s
responsibility to serve, advocate, and promote on behalf of
student organizations and the student body at large.
Basic
Platform Outline
- Seek
to provide registered student organizations with an
alternative funding source through DePaul Student
Government. (Each
quarter we will push to provide student orgs with the
ability to apply for funding that will be co-sponsored
programs with SGA) This
will assist in increasing relation building and
communication between student and SGA.
- Create
a “Unity Week” in the sprit of the mission of St.
Vincent DePaul as a way for students to embrace diversity
on campus and create a system to link students to
invaluable resources.
- Increase
communication and advocacy between SGA, faculty, staff and
the DePaul community.
- Continue
to advocate on behalf of all DePaul student in the areas
of tuition reduction and increasing community resources.
