Yes, they drive on the right, just like in the U.S.
Most rentals have a  manual transmission
No right on red at any light in France (unless there is a flashing red/orange arrow)
If you are at an intersection, the road to the right has the priority
There are many rotaries (rond-point) - traffic inside the rotary has the right of way
When in doubt, do what the car in front does
