Bigby Hotel Plaza and General Store
This magnificent structure is the oldest building in Bigby. Resembling an old barn (which is fortunate, since that's what it is), it remains the most popular tourist
attraction in Bigby. In 1994 alone, 3 people stood outside the Bigby Hotel Plaza and General Store for almost 10 minutes, shaking their heads in amazement!
Guest Room at the Bigby Hotel Plaza
The hotel on the second floor (right over the shelf with the galvanized roofing nails and Snickers Bar) consists of one sumptuous room complete with genuine oil-cloth curtains (commemorating
Bigby's good fortune!) and two Royal Doulton figurines with the words 'Made in Taiwan' carefully scratched out. There have been no guests in the Bigby Hotel Plaza yet, but owner/proprietor Oswald
Johnson lives in hope and changes the bedsheets every month, just in case.
