Awards: Blue Pilot with the best motto suggestion, and/or optional themed Flight mottos will earn an IS-BR for first place.

Rules: Pilot must send submission to my email by midnight EST on the 14th. Best motto will win, but I will be more likely to pick a motto that either 1. can be easy to later create flight mottos that follow in the same theme, or 2. have themed flight mottos also included in the motto submission.

Competitions Pending Approval: Blue Squadron Activity Competition (BAC) #1

Awards: IS-BW for leader in the Combat Category. IS-BR for leader in the Non-Combat Category.

What is Blue Activity Competition?

Blue Activity Competition #1(Henceforth, BAC) is a 2 week long competition at the end of month to increase activity and overall morale for the squadron. If it is successful, it could turn into a monthly competition as well.

Overall rules are simple: Everything counts! Every form of activity I could imagine has a point value to it! The point values are listed below.

For Combat points, winner is awarded an IS-BW.

Battles and Missions - 1 point per mission. Simple enough.

FCHG gains - 10 points per new FCHG gain. (This is where the newbies can really catch up.)

MP Victorys(Legion of Combat) - 3 points per LoC awarded.

MP Participations(MP Loss) - 1 point per match. (Email me shortly after Participation in a match telling me who you lost to.)

DFCs(Distingished Flying Cross) - 10 points per DFC awarded.

Combat Rating gains - 5 points per Combat Rating gain.

Citation gain - 5 points to each pilot who fly a battle within the two weeks that leads to a citation. This means even if we don't gain a citation from a battle you fly, but another pilot flies the same battle and gain a citation, you will both be awarded 5 points. I will also allow open communication between two or more pilots to organize a citation gain, so that the pilots involved gain points. In addition to all this, you may email me and ask me to fly any battle that will help gain you a citation. The battle that you gain a citation from must be BSFed during the competition.

Non-Combat points, winner is awarded an IS-BR.

Graphical Submissions - 1-6 points depending on quality, time taken, and originality of the submission. Must be Star Wars related. I will be harsh in the points awarded.

Fiction Submissions - 1-10 points depending on quality, length, originallity, and depth of the submission. Must be Star Wars related. I will be slightly harsh in the points awarded.

Webpages (Personal, Recruitment, or Flight Homepage) - 1-10 points depending on quality, originality, and shear helpfulness to the EH or Blue Squadron.

Recruitment - 20 points. Bring someone from the RSVs or Daedelus into the wing (any squadron). Be careful to read EH bylaws, especially about recruitment and spamming. I dont want to lose any pilots over a simple competition.

IRC activity - 1-20 points awarded at my discretion. This is a one-time point gain. Nobody will no their total amount of until the competition is over. These will not show up in the weekly updates. I will be watching for people on IRC, as well as people actively responding and conversing. I also will have several agents looking for this too. After the competition is over, I will announce the points awarded, as well as announce the winners.

IWATS pass - 8 points for a successful completion of an IWATS course.

1st week Run-On Scenario submission - 2 points for a submission, 8 points to best submission. Basically, email me a starting to a run-on within the first 7 days of the competition. I will choose the best one for Posting to our messageboards.

2nd week Run-On submission - 1-3 points per post based on length and quality. Just post to the Run-On that won in the first week.

Best Run-On 2nd week submission - 5 points. Winner determined by the WC and myself.

There will be two medals being awarded, IS-BW for the Combat category, and IS-BR for the Non-Combat category. Overall points winner will be BAC winner and may take the title of "Blue's Best for July 2007" , and may use the title in all communications, but no additional medals.

Remember this. All activity in this competition counts towards this months activity. If you are good enough to win one of the sections, then you will be good enough to get recommended a very nice medal when MSEs roll around at the end of the month. Even if you don't win any category, if you decently participate in the competition you will surely get an ISM or better for monthly activity.

So fly, write, code, and may the force be with you!

Future Competitions Being Planned: 1 total

Squadron vs. Squadron: Stage 1

Stage 1 - Idea has been thought up, or suggested to me. A competition may not make it farther than this stage.

Stage 2 - Logistics have been looked at and put to a practical plan.

Stage 3 - Concept has been shared with the Flag Officers and/or other officers involved.
