Neverwinter Knights - Mists

From the Histories of Connor Normal:

4 Mirtul 1376 to 8 - 9 Vasaris 752: The Travelers enter the mists and find themselves in a winter land known as Darkon. They surprise a carriage, and it overturns, killing the rider. They help the passengers, the Baron Palus and his daughter Silvia. The Baron offers hospitality and they stay the evening. They learn much about Darkon. The next day they venture into the elven town of Nevuchar and learn about muskets, herbal healing, and a ship that can take them to the land to the south, which is less depressing than Darkon and its walking dead.

9 - 25 Vasaris 752: The Travelers wait in Nevulchar while Regalla and Elan learn healing skills from the Ezra clerics. They take the two horses they purchases to Baron Palus, and are secretly asked by Silvia to try to find Viktor in their travels. Baron Palus warns them off this request, saying it is a family matter. Once the clerics are finished with their training, the Travelers decide to head west rather than to sail south in search of the Cult of the Morninglord. Along the road, they encounter brigands demanding toll. Hesitating to attack until attacked, they end up killing the brigands. Or did they?

30 Vasaris - 4 Kovas 752: The Travelers discuss their fortunes (but not all participate). They learn that the Vilani can guide them through the Mists. The patriach offers his grandson Hymie to serve as their guide, and they accept. They press on to Viaki, then head south then next morning. Along the trail they find an empty wagon, tracking the captives back to a brigand's camp. Easily dispatching the brigands, they rescue Lady Cordia. They pass the Necropolis and Darvin panics. In Rivalis, Barnaby learns he has relatives who own the cheese factory. They buy some witchwood stakes.

4 Kovas 752: The Travelers move through the mists, encountering five undead golems. They defeat the horrors. In Lamordia, they find Mordenheim and Darvin shares that he, too, shares a date with Death. Mordenheim tells them how he has created an army of constructs that can venture into the Necropolis. The Travelers volunteer to take the bodies. The next storm he transfers Darvin, Barnaby, Harold, Smitty and Elan. Three days later, Ilarion, Regalla and Victor transfer.

4 - 14 Kovas 752: The Travelers walk to the mists, through the mists (where Elan's mind leaves her construct body), through Barovia, and into the mists of the Necropolis. Once in the Necropolis, they encounter some skeleton guards. Inside the tower, they meet Death, who suggests Darvin and Victor fight to get what they want. Victor forces Darvin's soul out of the construct to win. He then defeats Death. The tower begins to shake as if it were going to fall. They grab the chest and try to leave, but they cannot get through the door. Opening the chest, they discover a seemingly infinite number of innocent souls as well as a large rock. Smitty starts tossing the souls at the larva, destroying both. One of the larva becomes a true Devourer of Souls, which attacks Smitty. Things look dire for The Travelers. Sorbe sacrifices herself and takes the role of Death to saves them.

14 - 28 Kovas 752: The Travelers return to Victor's manor to discover Elan's body missing, and Connor and Horg hiding. It is determined that Victor's first successful creation, Adam, had come looking for something. The Travelers track Adam's path through the garderobe cistern and out to the forest. Regalla believes she is Victor's servant, as does Victor, Horg and Sorbe. Victor shows them records to prove it. Eventually, the Travelers relent and using the big screen, they believe they locate Adam on the Isle of Agony. They venture to the Isle and discover a village of shipwrecked sailors that warn them against seeking out the Phantom. They press on and find what Sorbe warns them is a Domain Lord. The cloaked figure warns them off seeking Adam, and they decide this is a good idea. They return to Victor's manor as he is packing to return to Silvia. Deciding there is nothing left for them to do and fearing another of their group might meet the same fate as Regalla. Sorbe opens a gate to Endhome.

28 Kovas 752 - 18 Kythorn 1377: The Travelers go to Endhome, but Sorbe cannot leave (but her image can). They do not find Elan. Smitty tries to pray for her and manages to release the magic from the vessel. They decide to return to Faerun where they discover The One is a major belief, brought to them by Markheim Flynn. The Mulhorandi gods rule the south and Shar rules the north. They go to Waterdeep and can't get in because of Darvin. They go to Neverwinter and use the gemgate in the temple of Mask to go to Skullport. They enter the Burning Troll Inn to look for rooms and information.

18 - 24 Kythorn 1377: The Travelers gather information on the possible whereabouts of the Nhyris D'Hothek or the Crown of Horns, determining the path is via the Ferryman. This mysterious boatman transports the Travelers to a lower level (or another plane?) where they encounter a brass golem, magic using wisps, and other strange denizens of this area.

24 - 25 Kythorn 1377: The Travelers enter the next area which turns out to be some sort of colosseum. They are challenged to kill some unknown opponents, which Sorbe takes out with one spell, and take their magic items. Markheim appears. The next cavern has a paragon ha-naga and 10 paragon spirit naga. Illarion is killed and returned and killed and returned. Barnaby uses his earthquake club to bring down the cavern on many of the naga. It is a tough battle, but they prevail in the end (and find a lot of treasure). They find a pile of dead bodies and speak to one named Erick. Sorbe scrys on someone who knows someone who has the crown and finds an orc named Grunt. They learn that the high priest of Orcus has the crown, and Erick knows where the temple. They rest and then teleport to the temple entrance. With Erick's help, they quickly make their way to the dungeon level that holds the New Temple of Orcus. They kill everything they see.
