About Silver Light
As I have stated in my opening on the main page, Silver Light was born out of the frustration of being unable to find a single source of fanfiction. Of our small fandom, sites that do have fics usually have a small number that it takes a few hours, maybe even a day, to devour all the fics archived. If every other fandom can have a fanfiction archive, then Genbu Kaiden deserves one too. Fanfiction.net might be a factory of fanfics but it tends to be overcrowded with connection problems, technical difficulties, etc. so this is to make things easier for those of us who just want Genbu Kaiden. One stop and (hopefully!) no hassle. Most of the fics stored here at its launch are from authors I have personally contacted from around the internet, mainly Fanfiction.net. I'm sorry if I didn't contact you, no offense was intended. I just did a search for Genbu Kaiden fics and just randomly picked a few. When the fanart section is set to go, I will be using the same method to get it going, but if you wish to submit work ahead of time, I would be more than happy to have your work on file and ready to go for the section.
Silver Light was the most obvious choice to name this site based on the fact that the silver light is the sign of the Genbu no miko. ^^; Okay, okay, and I'm not very good with coming up with names and this little factoid stood out while I was looking for inspiration while rereading the manga.
