Welcome to the Silver Light, the first ever fanfiction and fanart archive completely dedicated to anything and everything Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden. As of its launch (not to mention quite a time before that), I've been scowering the Internet for fanworks and where I do find anything, there's really a tiny portion. So to make things easier, we now have a (hopefully ^=^) large enough source to satisfy most fans.

It's been over a year already but thanks to urgings of Birdie, I've gotten my butt in gear to get this site back up again. Yes, this is one layout where I had previously promised skins. However, I do not have the time to continue the adjustment from html to php. Maybe sometime in the future but not definitely not now. The fanart section is up, courtesy of a couple pieces donated by Birdie to get it started. All links should be in working order. If they are not, please let me know. Other things on the agenda of things that I need to get done by the next update on January 2nd are:- Update the fanfics that have been updated. I will be taking in any submissions that are coming my way. The deadline for my next update is January 2nd, which is a Wednesday. I will be updating every Wednesday if possible. If you want your work up by a certain week, please submit your stuff in before Wednesday, otherwise it will be part of the update the week after.
- Finish the layout that I've been working on, which I've been assured is squee-worthy (I really hope so. I always have this nasty feeling that layout is second-rate and I can do better).
- Contact authors for the new fanfiction that has been posted on Fanfiction.net and the GK LJ community. Again, I will not be contacting everyone who has written a fic in this fandom. Mostly those who have updated recently.
- Not to slack off like that time. ^_^ If possible, I would like avoid that situation again because once the momentum for a website stops, it stops.

30+ cups of tea later with a box of BC chocolates riding on the completion of the move: a new home! I am truly sorry for the wait but I had a bit of a problem with the CSS. For the most part, the site should be displayed properly in most browsers and resolutions. I definitely know for sure that the 800X600 resolutions won't be able to display Silver Light properly but all other resolutions larger than that should be okay. This had taken longer than I had intended but all the stories that I've recieved have now been archived. Enjoy! I'll be searching for fanfiction till the end of April. After that, what is submitted is at authors' discretion for I will be searching around for Genbu Kaiden fanart, which will be until the end of June. Although I promised myself a two week vacation after the first batch of fics were archived, I felt the need to share the following joy: WHOOPEE! We've got double digits in fanfics. *throws confetti* Okay I better shush up now but still thirteen is good. Thirteen is very good. *looks at people staring at her with crickets in the background* Yes, I know I'm obsessed with my baby but can you blame me since I'm obsessed with Genbu Kaiden itself?
