Not willing to lose him, the Crucible embrace their horrible memories and dark guilty pleasures and channel upon Bobby all the love and life they could muster. Spared from total discorporation, the group helps return Bobby to the headquarters to rest and take the time to study the situation they are in and see if they can find a solution to what must be done before it is too late. There was no mistaking the facts: The war in the Underworld continues to happen. And the events that are unfolding are not going to end anything soon.

When an outbreak of Jasons forces Grace Ishida and Terrence Green to call for back-up, the Crucible come to their aid and discover the worse is truly starting to explode. Taking down hordes of Jasons that have been terrorizing the Two Towers area, the Crucible begin to uncover the frightening fact that worldwide, more and more hives are beginning to rip open and tear the Maelstorm into the real world. Though the Crucible has learned they have gained many allies in the battle to come, ranging from a reformed Operation Black Mercury, to new Projectors like the Reporter who was stuck in the building and even the heroic return of Chet Mason with Tandy Gayle from the Underworld, their troubles have only just about begun.
