Storyteller notes:
Plans for Act 5
Act Five was intended to give the players all the freedom to see the many angles and options that existed in the game. Also in act five, one player (Vincent Fiorello) opted to leave the game and became a spectre. Two new players (Matthew Alcome and Samantha) joined in and contributed to the over-all story.

Among the things to be discovered were:

  • The existence of the spectral wars
  • The independence of Mister Jigsaw
  • The existence of the Archivist and the Wasteland
  • The Vitality Embelms
  • The truth about the Grand Maw's existence being more than just conjecture or fear
  • Uriah Bishop's multi-layered plans

Also, I had to push for a world-wide presence of the troubles to remind the players that having eliminated their competition (Terrel and Squibb as well as Nextworld) they've pretty much made themselves the key solution the world will have to hope for.

Thankfully, the group embraced their heroic stances well. And the inclusion of a crucible hive-mind (as per the Merit) and Vitality Gestalt allowed the group to curcumvent most of the threats I tossed them, although not without horribly scaring them with death first.
