Missouri Regional Convention |
|
|
The Missouri Regional Convention was held at Jefferson City March 2nd-4th. Delta of Missouri was present with 8 members (Allen and Karen Becker, Traci Grannemann, Amy Pope, Dawn Young, Rachael Schaffer, Jodi and Rose Schulte) to help Chi Delta with their hosting responsibilities. We were responsible for designing and printing the name badges, preparing the registration packets, and manning the Friday afternoon and evening and again on Saturday morning. |

CHIPS Program |

|
CHIPS Programs held at Sullivan on March 24th. This is a child identification program where the child�s fingerprints, picture, and information is collected and stored on a disk given to their parents so that in the event something happens to the child the information is quickly accessible to the police. A total of 388 children participated in the identification program. Chi Delta and Delta members logged 42+ hours helping with the program. Our members helped parents fill out the forms, directed them to the proper station, organized the families in waiting areas, amused the children while they waited, entered the children's info into the computer, took their pictures for the IDs, and trained volunteers how to enter the info & take the pictures. |

Music Festival Held at East Central College |
|
|
Chi Delta was asked to assist at the Area High School Music Festival held at ECC March 30th-31st. Chi Delta and Delta members served as judges' assistants, door people, runners (guide groups from place to place), office workers, group assistants, coffee runners, and clean up crew. There was over 1700 high school preformers plus their family and friends that were served throughout the 2 day event. |
