International Convention |
|
|
International Convention was held April 12-14th in Nashville, TN. Delta members present were Jodi Schulte, Rose Schulte, Traci Grannemann and Amy Pope. Delta of Missouri Alumni Association was again named the Outstanding Community Based Alumni Association. This makes 3 of the past 4 years that we received this award! All 4 Delta members present helped the International Alumni Association raise over $11,000 for the Leaders of Promise Scholarship during the convention. |

Phi Theta Kappa Night |

Our 7th Semi-Annual Phi Theta Kappa Night was held on April 20th. As always with Chi Delta's Spring Induction, we held not only the dance (donated again by Spinnin' Image) but the Scholarship fair. This year we had Webster University as a Gold Sponsor and both SEMO and UMSL/Pierre Ladede Honors College were Silver Sponsors. Also present were ?. Rockhurst University, ?, ?, and ? sent information for us to have for the Chi Delta members present at Phi Theta Kappa Night. Also in the scholarship fair room we had tables set up for Delta of Missouri Alumni Association and Missouri Alumni Association. At Delta's table we had our scholarship application along with flyers made up for Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarships in the state of Missouri, Scholarships available through International for use while still at the two-year college and ones available for their transfer institution. We also supplied refreshments for the inductees and their friends/family members present. |
