b.    International Convention - April 12-14, 2007 – A brief update was given on the members going to the convention.  A motion was raised by Allen Becker to officially designate Delta members attending the convention as delegates for the chapter so those eligible could deduct the expenses on their taxes.  Motion was seconded by Traci Grannemann.  Motion was approved.

c.    PTK Night – April 20, 2007 – It was decided to wait until next year to possibly give out a stipend/prize to a new Chi Delta member. Spinin’ Image has agreed to provide music for the dance.  Refreshments – It was decided to send out an Email asking for volunteers to bring the items still needed.  An Email invitation will be sent to all advisors in the region to invite their members.

d.    Follow-up mailings to prospective new Chi Delta members – Amy is going to revise the previous mailing.  Delta is going to cover postage costs with money received for bookmarks.  It was reported that Invitations were sent to 204 prospective members, with 40 having joined so far, and possibly another 30 at Rolla.  Amy will confirm the numbers with Kevin as well as if the Rolla chapter is definitely going to charter.

e.    Relay for Life – Traci will talk to Chi Delta at their upcoming meeting about their interest in participating.  It was decided it would be best if we could get a Chi Delta member to be team captain and attend the meetings and Delta assist them.  Karen has volunteered to go to the meetings if no one from Chi Delta could.  Amy brought up the idea of our team buying shirts for the relay that PTK International is selling, the shirts are $13, with $2 of the price going to the American Cancer Society.  Amy reported that this year at the relay, the organizers were encouraging teams to have games/activities geared toward children.  She also said we could possibly get a site next to Spinin’ Image if we are interested in doing joint games.  Numerous ideas for raising money were discussed including: selling stars on campus, having a yard sale with all proceeds going to R.F.L., having a scavenger hunt at the relay, etc.
