Hola! Not too much going on here. I wasng going to write today, but I figured I would since the computers are going so fast right now. I love it when hardly nobody is in the computer lab.
Well, I havent done much of anything today or yesterday. I went downtown today to meet my friend, Edgar, to help him with some English work. I just got back from doing that and am going home now. On the way home I think I will stop to pick up those photos. I am having the hardest time getting my photos around here. The place is never open and when I went by yesterday with no cash, they didnt accept credit cards. Anyhow,
IF they are open today, I will pick them up and then walk the rest of the way home.
The last few days have been really comfortable here, temperature-wise. It has been very cloudy and not too hot. I really like this kind of weather. Anyhow, it is supposed to get hotter, unfortunately. I do not like the sound of this because although it is not extremely hot now, it is still hot and the thought of it getting worse is not appealing to me. Whatever happened to the whole "Eternal Spring." I think someone should consider rephrasing that to maybe, "
Eternal Spring for a few months."
Anyhow, my housemother talked to me about the weather yesterday and told me that soon it will be changing to a different type of heat. she said it will get hotter and dryer and will not rain until probably when Im leaving in May. She said that it is going to be a dry heat and usually the winds will come with it. Well, the whole reason she went into this was because she said that the dry winds usually bring scorpions. I was like, "No, Claudia, please dont tell me this...I dont want to know." She said I needed to know because I need to start checking my shoes everytime I put them on and turning my socks inside out, and not to go around barefoot outside on the patio or at night when its dark. The worse was when she said that when I got to bed, I should also just pull back the covers to make sure one isnt in there.
Fortunately, they are nothing like the national geographic scorpions or anything. They are just the size of big spiders (thats still bad enough) and if I get bitten she has something to put on it. She said that if its really bad, we can go to the hospital, but that has never happened to anyone she knows.
Speaking of creatures, I was in the yard the other day and looked up, and on the wall was this big lizard-thing! I was like, "What is that!?" It was huge! It crawled on the wall and then went behind the wall. The other day, I saw two! They are really big lizards, like maybe 2 rulers long and 6 inches thick! It had some little horns on its head. Look at the bottom because I found some pictures online so maybe someone can tell me exactly what is the name of these things. They were really pretty, though. I wanted to touch it, but I better not. It looked like it could be kind of dangerous.
Well, I better go. How much do you wanna bet that they photo place is closed!? I hope not. I really want  to get these pictures up for everyone to see!

Here are some photos of what the thing I saw looked like. Come to find out, it was an iguana. Iguanas in my backyard- how cool!
