Today I went with my friend, Delphine, to a travel agency to talk about a trip to Cuba. The prices are pretty good- between $590 USD-700USD, but we both don�t want to spend quite that much. While I was there, I wrote down some of the emails of travel companies that we can contact ourselves, directly. The reason the prices are so high is because of the Semana Santa, which is like spring break here in Mexico, but the week is the exact same week for EVERYONE. Therefore, prices go up exactly during that week. But I think we can find something good on our own. We�ll see.
I nearly had a breakdown yesterday. I thought I was supposed to meet Bernadice�s brother, Sanatiel, at 6:30 downtown. Well, I got to the house, packed up my bags with work and such for us to work on, got my computer ready, and checked the paper and realized we were supposed to meet at 3:30! Remember that these are the same people that I never found 2 Saturdays ago when I was going to go to the park. I was so upset. I didn�t know how I was going to explain it to him. I kept thinking about how he would tell his sisters and how they would all hate me and think I was a liar and a no-show. I decided that I would go to their house and apologize. I felt so bad. I left our house at 8 (Andre and Claudia had ordered pizza for my birthday, so I had to wait around), and got to their house at about 9:30. He and his mother weren�t there because they had gone to the movies, but I watied. They finally arrived close to eleven, and I stayed for about an hour. He didn�t seem too mad, and we made plans to meet today, at Morelos State University.
