One reason I am being somewhat careful about money is because during spring break, some people are talking about going to Cuba. I think I want to go. That would be really cool to do for Spring break and especially since I can`t go to Cuba from the US. Total, for plane and hotel, I think it will be around $500, a friend of mine told me. That wasn`t final, but even if it was a bit more it would still be a good deal, I think. I will see what happens with that. Actually, I will see pretty soon because spring break is in 3 weeks!
Chelsey is supposed to get here a week before Spring break. She is coming March 10-16. I am really excited. Well, that is, seeing that her passport extension arrives on time. I hope it does.
My plan for today was to do a lot of homework. Hasn`t happened yet. I really need to get this done. Charles is calling tonight. We talked last night for a long time and had a really good conversation, so he said he`d call again tonight. I can`t wait.
Hard to believe that February is almost over. I think I was just talking about how January was almost over. So weird. I have been here for almost 8 weeks. I have ten or eleven weeks to go, depending on exams. When I think of all the stuff that has happened and that it`s not even halfway over, I think, ``Geez, what else is gonna happen?`` It`s a strange thought. Another strange thought is the fact that my birthday is in 2 days, well, 3. The 26th of February. I will be 21. Time flies.
Okay. I think it`s time to go. I`m just rambling about nothing, now. I would like to go back to the church tomorrow, but don`t know if I will. Really, I have no excuse since there are 4 services, all at really convenient times. Also, there is this indigenous festival about natural medicines and stuff tomorrow, but I have to call my teacher to find out where it is. So basically, everything`s up in the air as far as tomorrow is concerned, but I`ll let everyone know what happened on Monday!
