Deep Cold, as an organisation that operates in many different theatres and roles on a daily basis, is likewise divided into four major departments and numerous sub-departments. While specialisation can often harm the effectiveness of such an organisation, it proves incredibly potent to be able to respond to any kind of threat with confidence and competence if the organisation is arranged to further accent its own strengths.
Every chain of command needs its own starting link, and for Deep Cold, that link is provided in the form of Control Ops. Formally known as the COMMAND AND CONTROL DIVISION, Control makes up the thinking mind of the body of Deep Cold. Control handles dealings with clients, organises the finances, and makes sure that the operatives in the field are given the correct instructions and equipment. Control operatives rarely emerge from their offices; only recruitment ops spend time in the field, either actively taking people in, or monitoring recent recruits. Control are the money makers, the floor shakers, the men that say yes and no; when Intel Ops talk about the Powers That Be, they talk about Control.

The mailed right fist of the finely-tuned body that is Deep Cold,Phantom Strike are a division of Spec Ops; they are the soldiery that go into the field and do the combat work where the going gets tough. Composed of ex-SWAT teamers, soldiers, and various other disciplines, the Phantom Strike corps are skilled, efficient, and never fail to get the job done wherever possible.
Dedicated to the analysis of the events going on in the world, and using statistical theory and other techniques to predict events that haven't yet happened.Never has the Cassandra Wing made a prediction that hasn't come true; while they can't dictate the future, what they can compile from their data and speculate can almost be laid as a safe bet. Essentially, the Cassandra Wing acts as Deep Cold's premonition. Secluded from all access in the notorious fortress - location unknown - only known as The Chapel, nobody within Cassandra Wing reports on how the predictions are made, and nobody outside has ever managed to learn its well-kept secrets, so classified is the Wing.
The most numerous of the divisions within Deep Cold, INVESTIGATIONS AND OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE (Intel for short) are the people in the field that do the work. They chase up leads, manage assets at the behest of Control, secure new assets and act as the physical eyes within the field. The face of the organisation that people that aren't paying them see, most pose as investigators in another agency, or avoid the complications altogether with their well-honed social skills. All the operatives in this division, however, are capable when it comes to a firefight; they can handle themselves in a variety of situations that extend past their standard eyes-and-ears paradigm. In the biology of Deep Cold, Intel act as the open hands, eyes, ears and mouth.
A catchall term for the collected special arms of Deep Cold's most secret services, including their Transportation and Aerospace Corps (known as The Angel's Wings) and the much-vaunted Phantom Strike units, SPECIALIST OPERATIONS AND TACTICS is the arms, legs, feet and force behind Deep Cold's effective operational machine. Spec Ops - never confused with the US Military's own Special Operations units - have been the decisive factor in many an unheard-of hostage rescue, and acted as the foot soldiery in any number of Black Ops conflicts the world over. More recently they assisted the US Military in purging the Taliban from Afghanistan. (Note: see crossref: Eric Margrove )
Computers and technology play a massive part in the modern world, and as such, in the TECHNOLOGICAL AND CYBER OPERATIONS CORPS, Deep Cold maintains a dedicated selection of personnel that specialise in both of these areas. Hackers, cyberspies, virus engineers and highly advanced hardware are the bywords for Cyber Ops, surveillance and data protection and interception their speciality. So advanced are their techniques and their equipment that they can read the details from a computer hard drive without a direct connection, and perform such miracles as blacking out power grids remotely, breaking the security and encryption of even NSA files, and creating false identities within governmental groups in moments. Both the cloak that wraps about Deep Cold and the concealed dagger in its left hand, the subtle counter to Phantom Strike's right gauntlet, the Cyber Corps alone has made Deep Cold superior amongst its competitors.
