The saga continues...
Nothing much has changed in this past week, I still get nauseated and throw up, have a cough and the fevers still persist. The fevers are caused by the CMV virus which is slowing coming under control. I have had a fever almost everyday and that really drains my energy levels.
The week has been rather uneventful due to the continuous fevers. I didn't to do too much except take it slow and rest as much as possible.
We still make the daily visits to the hospital for the usual blood test, check up and medication. The anti-viral medication has now been reduced to once a day. This medication causes a lot of nausea and that makes me very sick. I'm glad that it has been reduced to once a day now. My blood counts have been good this week and I hope it stays that way. My white blood cell count has touched the five marker and is staying above four which is really good. My red blood cell and platelet counts are also staying above the required minimum level which means less need for transfusions.
I hope that soon I will be writing about all the outdoor activities I am enjoying rather then medical activities.
