I have recovered from by last bacterial infestation. I am feeling much better after coming home on Tuesday although the regular visits to the hospital are long and tiring but mandatory.
I am still receiving an anti-viral medication daily to control the CMV virus. This will still go on for a few more weeks.
My white blood cell count has risen above 3 and climbing. Remember normal is between 4 and 10.
Although my energy levels are low and crowds are forbidden I try to enjoy the warm and sunny days as much as possible.
Fifty days have passed since my transplant. It has been one crazy roller coaster ride so far. This is a huge big roller coaster and the ride is not over yet...
