Not much has happened this week. I still have a fever and we still visit the hospital regularly.
My blood counts are still low. White blood cell count is still hovering around the 1 mark. When this happens I am considered Neutropenic, thought I share some big words that I have learnt. My red blood cell count is fine although I received one blood transfusion this week. My platelet count is still very low and I receive a transfusion every second day.
I still feel tired which is caused by the fever and I also feel weak in my hands and legs. Despite all this I have just enough energy to carry out some normal day to day activities. In my case a normal daily activity is going to the hospital, having blood test done, receiving anti-biotics or having a transfusion done.
Hopefully the fever will settle down and my energy level will increase in the coming week.
