Not much has changed in the last week. I still have the constant fever and I still visit the hospital regularly.
My white blood cell count is still down in the 1.0 region. This is both good and bad. Good because this means that the leukemia is under control and bad because I am susceptible to infections, hence the fever. My red blood cell count is still holding good. My platelet count seems to be the worst affected. The count is down to 5. Normal being higher than 150. I received two more platelet transfusion this week but my platelet count still remains in single digits.
I still feel weak and get tired very easily so there is not much that I can do in a day.
I hope everyone in USA and Canada had a pleasant and relaxing Labour Day Weekend.
I definately enjoyed the weekend with my wonderful family.
