Lodging Options

Hotels are surprisingly expensive in the Boston area! Lexington, where the wedding is going to be held, is a suburb about 30 mins outside of downtown Boston, or about 20 mins from Watertown where we live. We think it might be to your best interest to stay in the historic and quaint city of Lexington.

Lexington Sheraton Inn, Lexington (781) 862-8700 Rate: $84/night (double occupancy)
Not knowing how many of you guys will be needing hotel rooms, we have 10 rooms reserved here. After some research, this turned out to be the quality and best deal around. I am not sure if they can do this special rate via web. The plain old telephone is perhaps the better bet. Just tell them "Steven sent me" -- if that doesn't work, try also "Ng/Yeh wedding."

This place is only minutes away from the church and reception in the serene Lexington area. You do need to have a car. From the area of Watertown both Dee and Steven live, it's about 20 minutes by Interstate 90 (Mass Turnpike) and Interstate 95 (a.k.a. Route 128). If you would like to stay closer to where we live, here are a couple of options:

Sheraton Hotel, Newton (617) 969-3010 Rate: ~$170/night
This is the closet hotel to us and is about 15 minutes from downtown Boston.

Days Inn, Brighton (617) 254-1234 Rate: ~$190/night
Quick and easy to Cambridge and Boston and only 2 miles from us.

Gift Registry

We've set up registries at Macy's and Crate & Barrel.

Both of us have lived independently for years. We don't particularly need too many household items. However, considering the geeks we both are, it is surprising that neither of us own a computer. You are welcomed to contribute to the computer fund instead.

Of course, if you happen to have a million dollars at your disposal and need some help with it, Steven's favorite aircraft now is the Robinson R-22 helicopter. Someday the Bell 430 big honking mama would be nice as well. =)
