How We Met...
In September of 1999, Dee founded a string ensemble group, The Doppler Shift Quartet, in which she plays the violin. Tasked with the formidable endeavor of finding a violist for this group, Dee called Steven after receiving this "lead" from a mutual friend. Steven waited a whole long time before he decided to give this chick the time of day. She was quite furious and about to write him off entirely but due to the utter kindness of her heart, she decided that he was worth a second chance. |

Steven became increasingly fond of Dee and started his hot pursuit. For the longest time, however, all he could get out of Dee was her "I don't find you repulsive" assessment of the "officially non-dating relationship." Steven, not easily deterred, was all the more persistent. He flew the lady on beautiful day trips around New England. Dee, at the same time was considering moving west to California for a career and a life change. But Dee's heart eventually melted. On November 20, 1999, Dee finally decided to stay in Boston and be Steven's sweetheart.... |
