! WHY CHANGE !
Imagine being hunted down by a predator day and night. You see him in the distance, closing in. Every move you make, there he is, waiting to strike, right behind you. You run and run, but there is no getting away. At any moment you just know your life will be over. Before you can make a sound decision, you�re in his clutches.
Living the gangster life is similar to what I have just written. When you get involved in gang activity, you become prey for the law enforcement community and your enemies. The two never sleep. The law enforcement officials have a job which is to get you off the street. Police officers outnumber any gang in America. They have every resource available to put a stop to gang activity, any time any place. Look at some of the biggest gangsters the world has seen, John Gotti and Al Capone; among others. They could not outrun the law and neither can you! That is how most gangster stories end. The star either ends up locked up or dead. Check the history books.
Do not think your enemies come in peace. They come for revenge and retaliation. The result of gang wars is prison, bloodshed and death.
There are many reasons why people join gangs, (i.e. acceptance, a false sense of love, no hope, protection, etc.). The end results are always the same: death or prison. There will also be immeasurable pain, heartaches, grief, suffering, agony, and loneliness that all comes with the gang life. Why then, should you want to �bang?� All this, plus don�t forget the law enforcement officials and your enemies. You�re a target everyday!
From the �Baby Gangster� to the �Original Gangster�, be honest with yourselves, the gang life is not the way to live. If you keep chasing death or doing crimes, it is only a matter of time before reality closes in! Starting over is not impossible. The same gang officers, who gangsters think is the enemy, will not hesitate to help you get your life together. Nor will your family or friends. Gangsters, your mission in life is bigger than dying for a block or color. Everyday, I see gangsters on the losing end. It doesn�t matter how true you are. You can not win. Take that first step. Get out of the gang you�re in. A real man stands on his own two feet. Analyze your whole potential; you have the ability to be much more than what you are today. You�re still breathing. Please save yourself!
