The Plan. Cedar will be used for
the frame. The glass will be secondary glazing panels. There is a complication in
that the glass is in France so the measurements will have to be spot on
and the whole thing will be made in "knock-down" format so that
it can be transported in the boot of a car.

With the table saw wedged in the middle of the workshop I could just manage to rip
the 62" long boards with barely an inch to spare at each end. The shop built out-feed table consists of a 4x2 held in the workmate with a strip of 1/4"
ply nailed to the top. The workmate made height adjustment very easy

Lots of 2x2s and 2x1s. The
workshop smelt wonderful after all the sawing was completed
