Celebrating 15 years!

The onion volcano

Ashley comments on her evening:
"I tried some sushi & the ones with the raw fish yuuuuck! The raw shrimp tail sushi was good and so were the California rolls. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great! They had a chef cook right in front of us. He tried tossing shrimp into our mouths but it did not get into our mouths. One hit Mom in the face, hardy har har. *humor ar ar* I almost lost it when I was drinking my green tea and trying so hard not to laugh when the shrimp hit Daddy in the face. We found out Uncle Eddie was allergic to mushrooms and shrimp. The guy that cooked right in front of us made a volcano that shot out fire and when he put the soy sauce in it acted like lava. I told him it was a tasty way to explain volcanic activity. He laughed. I tried the wasabi and it made me tear up and cough. It was sooooo hot. It's horseradish mush and is good for the sinuses.I even tried the vinegar sauce and it did not make the sushi taste any better. I almost lost it with the yellowtail tuna sushi and it almost made me barf. The staff were laughing so hard at me they had tears in their eyes and the manager got the workers from the back of the restaurant to come out, and they laughed at me too. I told Uncle Eddie, Aunt Joyce, Mom and Dad that it wasn't funny. Now I look back, and it really was funny. I had the taste of sushi in my mouth still when we were coming home. Mom gave me a mint and it helped for a little bit. They also gave me a BIG piece of New York-style cheesecake with a candle in it for my birthday. It was soooooo good. A lot better than the sushi."
