Tapp Cousin's Home
This website is dedicated to the Tapp family researchers. Here hopefully you will find a place to help further your research as well as meet a few new cousins. This site is an ongoing project to reunite the scattered families of the all Tapp's.
There are many theories out there to the origins of the Tapp families in America. This site is a place to learn about the Tapp families as they came to America and thier migration patterns. They scattered far and wide from their point of origin in the US. I welcome all Tapp family contacts. When I began researching my family origins I knew nothing of the Tapp family  I knew that it was my Great-Grandmother's maiden name and that she came from Arkansas. Since then I have aquired much information. I have made contact with some distant cousin's as they helped me to verify my information. I still have a lot of research to continue on the family and wish to meet and share my information with others.
In this site you will find those willing to lookup's on
Our Volunteer page.

Others have come forward that are researching in specific area's. They are willing to share their knowledge with others on our
Regional Page.
Tapp family submissions by State or specific line: These pages are under construction and will be updated as new materail surfaces. Links can aslo be found on our Reginal Page for these pages.
Charlie Tapp who has his ancestral origins in Logan Co. Ohio has shared many documents and photos of the ancestral lines on this page Click here for Tapp's of

There is also a
Cousin's Research Project page that you may want to become a member of. These folks are serious researchers that agree to abide by standards in their research efforts. They are dedicated to working together to gain new knowledge about their heritage.

If at anytime you feel as though you would like to join the efforts here please contact me.

For those of you who are new to genealogy I have put together a page to help you get started. On it you will find a couple of useful links in helping you to get your project up and going. I have tried to include some useful tips that I have used in filing and keeping my work organized. All genealogist will tell you that the stacks of paperwork overwhelm you. If you try to establish a system early on it will help you in the long run.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting.
