Deborah attended Purdue University from the Fall of 1999 through the Spring of 2001.  During that time she received a Master of Science in Education specializing in Mental Health Counseling.

The courses she completed during that time are:

Counseling Theories & Techniques = Introduction to Mental Health Counseling = Developmental Theories = Career Theories = Consultation = Program Development = Research Methods = Measurement & Evaluation = Independent Research on the retention of probationary students = Multicultural Counseling = Counseling Practicum = Counseling Internship = Human Relations in Group Counseling

Prior to attending Purdue University, Deborah received a Bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University (1997-1999) and an Associate's degree from Florida College (1995-1997).

Deborah has received specialized training in bonding and attachment needs of children and their parents at the Theraplay® institute in Chicago (March 2002).

Deborah has attended a training seminar entitled "Counseling Victims of Sexual Abuse: The Three Stages of Healing" offered by Cross Country University (Nov. 2002).

Deborah has attended Track One of the week intensive Biblical Counseling Training Conference at Faith Baptist church in Lafayette, IN (Feb. 2003).
