Relationships (dating, pre-marital & marital counseling)

Deborah has presented workshops on relationships at Avon & Brownsburg, IN Libraries.

Career Counseling

Deborah has received training in the use of the following career and personality inventories: Strong Interest Inventory = Self-Directed Search = Myers Briggs Type Indicator = Personality Research Form = 16-PF = NEO-PI = Major Minor Finder = DISCOVER = SIGI Plus.

Deborah has presented a Study Skills Workshop to a Residence Hall at Purdue.  She collected information on studying, time management, and test-taking skills.

Self-worth

Deborah has facilitated a Christian women's self-esteem group.  This was an ongoing group for 13 weeks with college age women.

Deborah has also presented a self-esteem workshop at a Ladies' Retreat in Lafayette, IN for teenagers.

Abuse Survivors

Deborah has co-facilitated a Young Girls Survivors of sexual abuse group.  This was an ongoing group she was a part of for 9 months.  There were between 5-8 girls aged 11-14 involved in the group throughout that time.

Deborah has attended a training seminar entitled "Counseling Victims of Sexual Abuse: The Three Stages of Healing" offered by Cross Country University.

Communication

Deborah has presented a two part series on Communication at a Ladies' Retreat in Avon, IN.  The series looked at personality types using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and how we communicate with one another.
