My name is NuNu. I was a stray. The people that had me before must have tired of me, because they dropped me off out in the country. It was so dark and scary. I felt so alone and very sad. I walked forever. I came up on a building, and saw a man coming out of the back door. I ran as fast as I could, and leaped into the man's arms. I just met my new Dad. He took me home with him. He fed me, brushed me, gave me water, and cut my old collar off. My collar was so tight that it had rubbed my fur off from around my neck.
The next morning, I met the rest of the family. There sure were a lot of cats. My Mum and Dad gave me a bath, brushed me, and put a nice new flea collar on me. It fit nice, not to tight, not to loose. I was back to my handsome self.
If you are thinking about getting a new pet, Please, don't do to them what was done to me. We have hearts, and we feel the hurt also.
I now have a Mum and Dad who loves me and cares for me, but I also have four brothers and four sisters. You will meet them on the next few pages.
I want to Thank all the people out there who have taken strays and animals from the shelters, and given them homes. I am sure that they are as happy as I am to have someone to care for them. God Bless all of you.
