I would like to welcome you to my hometown.  It is a small town with less than 5000 people.  We are located on the Illinois River.  The sign above is the entrance sign to Illini State Park.  The park is across the bridge from Marseilles.

This is our new bridge.  This picture was taken from the park side.  There is a walkway on the bridge for you to walk over.

This is the main shelter at the park.   There are littler ones stationed in different parts of the park.  This one has two fireplaces, one on each end and over looks the river..

The pictures below are the Marseilles Locks.  The locks are at the far west end of the Illini  State Park.

Well people, this is it!  This is my hometown coming in from the bridge.  Like I said, it's a small town, but we do have the river.  Marseilles is a very quiet town.  Most of us know each other, grew up together, went to school together, and have been friends forever.
