What can I say? I'm just a veritable fountain of ideas. Er...yeah. Most of these ideas have been brought up in AGV Improvement Suggestions (AIS). Now I bring them to you here.
Birthday Page
Everybody has a birthday. Everybody wishes everybody else a happy birthday. Why not have a page for member birthday's? While it's not exactly an official part of AGV, Jenifer and I have taken it upon ourselves to create such a page. Everybody on the list has either memoed or posted their birthday. If you aren't on the list, contact either one of us to get on it. The page itself can be found here:
Spoiler Box
Many times, it's unavoidable when posting to include plot spoilers. If you're reading along and haven't seen the part where Bob dies and comes back as a duck, that's bad. This has been suggested by many people many times in many forms (no, not forums...forms!). This is my little visual take on Kokoryta's suggestion, I believe.
This allows one to check the box if the post contains spoilers and also to specify what episode or character the spoilers are for. The info would go into a predetermined string that would be inserted at the top of the post that would both indicate there are spoilers and provide several lines of blank space.
Review Link On Vote Page
This was not my suggestion, but Utero asked me to do a visual aid for him. When a member votes on an anime or on a website or what have you, it shows up on the Votes page in their profile. In the specific example of animes, a member can write a review if they wish.
The general idea is to give easy access to a members reviews. It is a tedious task to look through a forum to find a vote and read the review. This as well has been suggested many times and seems to be one of the more popular ideas floating around.
There are probably more, actually I know there are, but I have to go back and dig them out of my message history.
