It isn't a grand event.
But it will be a good way to look back to how far the four of us have evolved since graduating from high school.
It's a private event on July 28 at a classmate's house near SM Fairview.

Visit the LISTEN section to hear
or secure for yourself a copy of our demo recording, Panawagan. Comments are
most definitely welcome.
- aaaa. [06.24.07]
We have just finished recording Panawagan @ Sound Kitchen
(Nostalgic, for of all places, the recording studio is in Lagro). Thanks to Ys
for lending us some of those Med-dedicated time. And really,
really, props goes to Ms. Hazel, our very brilliant sound engineer. We're coming
back there to record our other demos. But for the meantime, there's
Panawagan, our entry for this year's Globe Kantabataan. It will be available
at the LISTEN section.
We've been saying all along to ourselves that the next step
would be a demo. Finally we have tasted the feel of a studio. We're definitely
coming back.
As for gigs, our next one is still in August. We are now eyeing
this coming Globe Kantabataan and Myx! Bandarito.
We can't wait to let you hear more of our new songs. Lined up
are "Ana Marita," "Ninth Nimbus," "The Rain and
My Pre-school Neighbor," "Abril," "Blandino D.
Bandonil" and "Langit, Lupa." We're cooking and simmering at
Norman's home where the beloved drumset is at.
Cheers and hope to play in front of you in the near future.
- aaaa. [06.07.07]
Now we can practice on our own, thank goodness. This is really a
big step, creativity-wise. The drumset is a wine-red Fernando,
which would not have been possible had it not been for the trust given to us by
Atty. Dabu and her daughter, Ms. Tin. We at NP thank you from the bottom of our
hearts :D - aaaa. [05.13.07]
We really do hope you can come. It's at Purple Haze bar, Tomas
Morato corner E. Rodriguez. It's our third time to pull some tricks over there.
We may be requesting an earlier time slot so do come early at around 9pm. For
further directions, visit our Contact section and leave your queries there. - aaaa. [05.11.07]
The crowd yesterday at San Jose del Monte, Bulacan was so warm
and appreciative of our original material: Stereo, Panawagan and
of course, D.o.t.A. It was a blast having to perform there together with
Aiza Seguerra (yes, you read it right). Aiza performed Ipagpatawad Mo,
and by coincidence, we were also covering the same song as well as the song
Prinsesa. Greetings to all our newly-found friends. Good news for you...
we'll be coming back tomorrow there at Sapang Palay. - aaaa. [05.11.07]
See the guys for their third stint for the Blue Room
Productions, only at Purple Haze (Tomas Morato cor E. Rodriguez). NP will be
with many more great bands under the same umbrella so see you. Tickets are at
150php with 2 free drinks. Available at The Coffee Way at 72-a Maginhawa
Street, Teacher's Village. - aaaa. [05.04.07]
NP will provide the punch and the fireworks in an intermission
number for a big event in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. On
consecutive nights from May 11 and May 12, NP will dish out 5 songs featuring
Panawagan, their entry for this year's Globe Kantabataan. Venue
details to be announced. - aaaa. [05.04.07]
Due to technical difficulties, the Kowloon engagement of NP will
be cancelled. But they will continue to play on Saturday, April 28 at Purple
Haze (Tomas Morato, corner E. Rodriguez). See you there. And by the way, happy
graduation to me! Yipee! - aaaa. [04.23.07]
No, not yet. No one's getting married from No Parking yet,
although Love is already getting there. :) But NP will serve as a gift for a
friend's wedding. It will be @ Kowloon, West Avenue on May 5. We don't have the
right to invite people over, so it's too bad. But we'll try to get this acoustic
set on video for you people. - aaaa. [04.17.07]
No Parking was invited to fill in for some bands included in the
first volume of the compilation CD of the Blue Room Recording Studio. The event
was held in Purple Haze in Tomas Morato corner E. Rodriguez and served as a
warm-up for their subsequent gigs there on April 28 and May 19. Bambam's family
even watched. - aaaa. [04.14.07]
After last night's explosive performance at Kwatro Bente Bar,
the band was invited for subsequent gigs on April 28 and May 19 at Purple Haze,
Tomas Morato, QC. The events are sponsored by the Blue Room Productions, the
production arm of the studio in Teacher's Village where the band holds their
practices. - aaaa. [03.25.07]
The Blue Room Productions present a fun-filled night of fresh
and raw music at the Kwatro Bente Bar in Xavierville, Katipunan, QC. And of
course, yours truly, No Parking, will be there. - aaaa. [03.20.07]
This is the final (and second) leg of our mini-dormitory tour.
The Ilang-ilang Residence Hall at UP Diliman (near the International Center and
Shopping Center) will hold its annual open house event dubbed as Javapalooze. NO
PARKING was invited as a guest together with other bands such as Ishlavoo,
Sandlady just to name a few.
Event starts at 7pm. We've been itching to play lately. Where
does all this energy come from? Thanks. See you there. - aaaa. [02.19.07]
Happy Valentines' Day everyone! MUSIKABATAAN, the concert
sponsored by Kabataan Partylist is set to rock this February 16, starting at
5pm. No Parking will be at Trinity College for the first time. It is near St.
Luke's Hospital. Do come, we'll be waiting. Thanks. -aaaa. [02.14.07]
Although we may not have landed a UP Fair slot, we are sort of
in the middle of a mini-dormitory tour for this month. This Saturday, February
10, NP will be playing for the culmination concert of Narra dormitory's Open
House event. No Parking will be playing with Soapdish, Aizo, Sunflower Day Camp,
Daisy Singko, La Passionara, Sandlady, Garden of Eden, Sacramento, and Wanwurd.
And the biggest catch is that the event is of free admission.
Catch us at 8pm. -aaaa. [02.09.07]
NP was supposed to play this Friday, February 9, at Trinity
College but due to technical and administrative difficulties as stated by the
organizers, the gig was moved to February 16. -aaaa. [02.09.07]
The band would like to extend its condolences to Klara whose
father passed away just this morning. Just know that you are not alone as you
face this test. Be brave, our Webgoddess. -aaaa. [02.05.07]
Heads up! No Parking will be playing this Tuesday in this year's
installment of the MusiKAPEstival concert. Not only is this event free, there is
also free Kapeng Barako in the venue itself.
The band will be playing with Kapatid, Death by Tampon, Datu's
Tribe, Aizo, Pumping Pluto and a whole lot more. If it's a UP Batangan event, it
should be fun for the four of us. See you there. UP Vinzons' Hill. Show starts
at 6pm. Remember, free entrance and free Kapeng Barako. -aaaa. [02.04.07]
As a guilder myself, I couldn't be any happier than seeing
people grace our event and watch us play our rendition of If You're Gone and
Gemini––and well of course, Pirouette [a.k.a. Minuet for hardcore No Parkers
(^_^)]. The food was great and also the people. Advanced Happy Valentines' again
people. -aaaa. [02.04.07]
Check back for more details. The event is slated on February 24,
Saturday. -aaaa. [01.27.07]
No Parking is set to
perform at the pre-Valentine event of the UP Broadcasters' Guild––Destino 5:
Heartwritten, the formal, romantic event which culminates in the screening of
the movie The Notebook. The band will perform an acoustic set. Be there.
