Wish List
These are items that we could really use in our shelter.
Items for Use in Shelter
- Photo albums
- Office Supplies (copy paper, pens, paper clips, scotch tape, etc.)
- Kitchen supplies (paper plates, plastic utensils, styrofoam cups, coffee supplies, etc.)
- Paint and paint supplies (brushes, rollers, roller pans, drop cloths, etc.)
- Household cleaning supplies (dish soap, laundry soap, dryer sheets, general cleansers, floor cleaners, etc.)
- Umbrellas
- Film to document physical abuse
- Medicine (must have seal intact) - coughs, colds, headache, stomachache, earache, etc.
- Medicine dispensers
- First aid supplies (bandaids, gauze, tape, cotton balls, merthiolate, etc.
- Small appliances (toasters, irons, curling irons, etc.)
- Paper products (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, kleenex, etc.)
- Linens, (sheets, towels, dishtowels, etc.)
- Clocks
Items for Ladies & Children
- Baby Supplies (bottles, pacifiers, wipes, diapers, formula, etc.)
- Healthy snacks (crackers, fruit snacks, pretzels, animal crackers, cookies, juice, pudding, jello, etc.)
- Non-perishable food items (canned vegetables, canned fruit, pre-packaged food such as macaroni and cheese, Rice-A-Roni, microwaveable meals for late-night arrivals to shelter, etc.) No expired foods please.
- Personal care items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair brushes, combs, deodorant, dusting powder, cologne, perms, hair relaxers, feminine napkins, etc.)
- Women and children's underwear (bras, panties, boys shorts, etc.)
- Tennis shoes (women's and children's - new and used)
- School Uniforms - New or Used (Khaki and navy blue with white shirts/blouses)
- Phone Minutes
- Brooms, mops, dust pans, water hose, garden supplies, etc.
- Toys - New or used: Board games, puzzles, dolls, videos, etc. (Please note: No toy guns or knives and no violent video games or movies.)
- T-shirts, shorts, pajamas
Special Projects
- School supplies (glue, looseleaf paper, scissors, pencils, folders, book bags, markers, etc.)
- Quilting supplies (cotton materials, needles, thread, cutting boards, etc.)
- Arts and Crafts Supplies (paint, paint aprons, brushes, art paper, stencils, felt, etc.)
- Old cell phones
- Passes to: movies, skating, bowling, Jazzland, aquarium, zoo, Imax, etc.)
- Gift certificates: McDonald's, Burger King, pizzas, bakeries (for monthly birthday parties), department stores, hardware stores, etc.
- Teaching tools (group activities, visual aids, posters, etc.)
