This program is designed for professionals who want to incorporate conflict resolution and management skills in their work as consultants, mediators, trainers, group facilitators and managers. The focus of the program is on conflict prevention, management and resolution in an organizational setting.

The program provides a comprehensive foundation in the theory and practice of conflict management and is unique in a number of respects. In particular, the program examines conflict from a systems perspective, studies the principles of conflict management first before mediation, addresses cultural sensitivity squarely through a core course of 30 hours, anticipateds the reality of conflict arising in a teamsetting, recognizes the importance of solid facilitation and decision making skills, and ensures real life learning through 100 hours of practicum.
