I am so glad that you are checking this page out. You see, it is only because of Jesus Christ that I am able to sing all of these songs so joyfully for Him. I want to briefly tell you of my personal experience with Jesus, then show you how you also may come to know Him in that personal and wonderful way. I'm no preacher, but I certainly do know how wonderful that The Lord has been and still is to me.

First, let me tell you of my salvation experience. I was a young boy at a revival service at Maybelle Baptist Church outside of Welch, Oklahoma, where my dad was pastoring. I remember that the evangelist was preaching the sermon and that The Holy Spirit had been dealing with my heart for some time of my need to accept Christ, but I was slow to respond to that call. The devil does have a way of slowing a person's response, you know. I also remember that I was experiencing what I call "The white-knuckle effect" due to the conviction of my heart of its lost condition due to my sins during the invitation that was given. This is just simply means that I was clenching onto the pews as hard as I could to keep from going forward to where Dad was standing to accept Jesus into my heart. Praise The Lord, though, the calling and conviction was stronger than my "white knuckles" and I surrendered to Him, trusted Jesus as my Savior, and I was truly saved that day.

First:: Realize that you are a sinner without hope

Second: Trust Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and commit all of your heart to following Him.

I want to emphasize to you once again this point: Without Jesus Christ, you are very certainly headed for an eternity in Hell forever shut off from Him. I know that that is not a popular thought, but it is the truth from The Word of God. I do not say this with a mean spirited attitude, but one with all of God's Love. If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR, RIGHT NOW is the time to do it. If you truly want to be saved, here is a prayer that you can pray right now and be saved right now:

"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I know that without you I am headed for a Christless eternity. I trust you now as my Savior and ask that you forgive me of all of my sins and come into my heart. Thank you for saving me and I ask also that the power of your Holy Spirit will strengthen me to be the best Christian that I can be for you. Amen"

Now that you have been saved, go tell someone you know and go join a Bible believing church that you may continue to grow in The Lord.
