Brands Hatch: 28th July 2000
After I noticed this chance to do a track day at Brands, I text Pete so that he could send off his coupon. He only got in the same morning session as me.

Thanks and respect go out to Dunlop for the event and The California Superbike School for a professional and enjoyable day, nice one!

This was quite an unusual set up, as I put in for the intermediate class and Pete put in for novice. After a couple of trips round, I asked one guy why the intermediates were going so slow. He replied "Your in the advanced mate!". Pete also had been moved up a group without being told? Strange? Not that either one of us noticed anyway.

Clark Curve: This time we were alowed to use 105db race cans, unlike Donington. Baffled to hell!!
I think the less said about this picture the better eh Pete??
It shows you just how fast these boys go round this circuit and how slow we were in comparison?
Here's Pete on his gleaming new R6, with a stainless steel race can just for good measures
