| My Nightmare Status: Completed 1st September 2004 Tagline: "The horror after the horror" Info: "The driver" has escaped from a maniac's massacre somewhere in the English countryside. He pulls off the road and stops the car to take a breather. Consumed by the shock of what he has just seen (events that take place before we join) he passes out. But his dreams are ripped apart - piece by bloody piece - as the killer invades his dreams leading him closer and closer to the end. Latest News - August 2004: Day 1 of filming was August 7th 2004. We did a lot of shooting in 3 of the 4 locations. It was just myself and lead male Knox. The fake blood mix worked really well and looked fantastic when poured all over my very own Bruce Campbell (probably only insiders will get that joke though). In the past few days since this day of filming, I have been working on the audio tracks I will be using for the film, which will be in-keeping with the warped and dream-like setting of the film. Also, due to schedule trouble, it looks as if there will be a bit of a re-write to the script, nothing major, just making sure I can film each scene in a certain way so that I won't need everybody together at the same time. The biggest change will be in the barn scene which for various reasons I have decided to completely re-think. But despite these little hiccups I encountered today (August 10th), I think the script and therefore film will be a lot stronger as a result. Day 2 of filming is scheduled for August 14th 2004 and it will again just be myself and Knox, but my plan at the moment is to shoot the rest of the film on August 21st and 22nd leaving August 28th and 29th open for extended shooting or alternative dates if need be. But hopefully I will be able to keep it to a total of 4 shooting days. News Update: August 12th 2004: The script has now been re-jigged to accomodate the scheduling trouble. The biggest change is in concern to one scene which has now totally changed. I am still developing audio tracks for the film's soundtrack as well and finally, I think it's time I went and either watched a DVD or planned this weekend's shoot. News Update: August 23rd 2004: Another script re-write to streamline it. I think it works better now, it did kinda seem as if I was overstating the violent essence of the film. Anyway, yesterday I filmed the final scenes and it was a great shoot. Now all I need to do is capture the footage and edit away...however, my camera is playing up so I can't upload the footage yet (typical!!!!!). So it's time to start praying then I think...I want this damned film completed before September. Otherwise it really will turn into a nightmare. I will also say that I don't wanna be a movie producer. I hate that job! |
