| September 18th 2008 (5:19pm): Updated the Official Projects page for "Sexual Ethics" with a new write-up and a selection of screen captures. September 17th 2008 (6:09pm): Updated the "About Me" section, it's now just a simple one-page biography, much better than what I had before which was far too waffly, and dated back to 2005 anyway. Also, added a new Personal Projects page for "Memories of Falling Ash", which can be viewed on my YouTube Channel. July 20th 2008 (7:35pm): I was thinking I'd continue the updates sooner than this, but I've been rather busy of late with the Sexual Ethics project. Anyway, I've added a projects page for my new short film (which is currently in the editing stage) "Signing Off", and I've finally updated my Schedule page with a full listing for 2007, and an up-to-date listing for 2008. June 27th 2008 (3:09pm): Another long time indeed, but I've certainly been beavering away on this 'ere website, details as follows: * Project page added for VHS: Long Play * Separated out my projects into two sections, as access from the index, so it is now "Official" and "Personal" projects. * Added an "Official Projects" page and updated the links accordingly. * Started updating the schedule, I will add the rest of 2007 soon, as well as come up-to-date for 2008. * Added a page for three other projects, which can all be found in the "Official Projects" section, these are "Sturgeon Moon", "The Handless Maiden" and "Sexual Ethics". I think that's all for now that I've updated, all the link fiddling on various pages took the most time. I've been here doing this for about two hours now, so it's time for a well earned break! Further updates as to what I'm doing and viewing, as always, can be found on the DeadShed Blog (as linked to above). March 30th 2008 (3:44pm): Aye, long time no update. Anyway, "Contempt of Conscience" is nigh-on-complete. Otherwise I've been busy doing this, that and the other - more frequent such updates are on the DeadShed blog, as linked to on the front page. Main reason to put this entry in is to explain the counter problem on the front page. Silly billy me didn't make it longer than 3 digits, so it seems to have clocked over 1000 hits and is now sitting like an idiot at 4, so it should read 1004, but doesn't - instead it reads 0004, which is wrong. Will try and figure that out. December 22nd 2007 (12:22pm): Added a project page for the Great Malvern Lantern Parade, which I shot & edited a short film for, for the Malvern arts council recently. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to one and all. October 28th 2007 (2:47pm): Added a link to the teaser trailer of IAZM3 on the IAZM3 project page. Also did the same for IAZM2 on its page. October 27th 2007 (2:11pm): I've added pictures to the "Inside Hereford Buttermarket" and "Making Japanese Edo Kites" project pages. I have also added a project page for "I Am Zombie Man 3". I've done some general tweaking and added links to the DeadShed BLOG as well as the DeadShed YouTube Channel. General updates to do with script writing and filmmaking will now be found on my BLOG, as well as my various rants & raves about random things, and finally my thoughts/musings on various media output - movies, TV, videogames. September 14th 2007 (6:51pm): I've added a page for "Contempt of Conscience", the documentary on which I have been acting as Cinematographer and technical advisor. There was already a short version out there, I've been working on the full length version. Also, I've been doing some work with Silva Productions: Sturgeon Moon The Handless Maiden I have also been busying myself with script writing, a follow-up idea, continuing with the planning for IAZM3 and a feature script I've started working on. August 18th 2007 (12:19pm): First off, some exciting news, Gary Ugarek (writer/director of Deadlands: The Rising) was kind enough to submit "I Am Zombie Man" to IMDb.com and the other day it was finally put online! I Am Zombie Man @ IMDb.com As a result I also have a page for myself: Nick Thomson @ IMDB.com Also, I've given in to the inevitable and sorted out myself with a BLOG: DeadShed @ Blogspot In other news, or general chit-chat, 2007 has been a good year so far. I've worked again with The Rural Media Company on one of their recent projects (called "Show and Tell"), I'd worked with them before during the trial run project in 2006 called "BBC Local TV". Also, as I might have mentioned before, I've been acting as Cinematographer (as well as contributing some additional editing and colouring work) on the full length version of "Contempt of Conscience", by documentarian Joe Jenkins. It's all about the Peace Tax Seven. Next up - the third and final film in the I Am Zombie Man series ("The Inevitable Decomposition of Zombie Man" - again starring 'my Bruce Campbell' Gareth Knox as the title character), and a new feature script I started writing on August 11th, something which I would be aiming to actually shoot once I've gained enough contacts and providing I could secure funding (or suddenly won the lottery, haha!). ... In site news, I've been going around updating bits and pieces that were oversights from beforehand. The Links page now has a bunch more links, to the film festivals I've been featured in, to BBC Local TV, and to my IMDb.com pages as well as my new DeadShed Blog. I'm also noting on the project pages where the films have been shown (if applicable). July 24th 2007 (10:36pm): Updated the project page for I Am Zombie Man 2 with a full write up and screen captures from the final version of the film. In other news, I have started writing the script for the third and final I Am Zombie Man film, subtitled "The Inevitable Decomposition of Zombie Man". July 11th 2007 (11:34am): Just a further little update on the recent past, stuff which had slipped my mind a couple of days ago, but first - I have finally recorded the raw Zombie Man Audio Commentary for IAZM2. I've also been working on the DVD for those involved in the making of it. As for other things IAZM2 related, not only is the first IAZM on the DVD for Deadlands: The Rising (which has been selling very well), but there was a special release party held at the Hagerstown 10 Cinema in America. Deadlands was shown, but as for supporting material that was shown first - not only was the first IAZM shown, but so was IAZM2. Both films went down very well, as I saw from video clips the guys took in the cinema so that I'd have a chance to see the reactions. I'll see about posting those up soon. But the good news didn't stop there, the even did so well that the Hagerstown 10 Cinema decided to do a 2 week run of Deadlands - with the supporting material as well - so IAZM 1 & 2 both both 2 weeks of theatrical exhibition! Great stuff indeed. July 9th 2007 (3:08pm): Been another long while, I'm starting to make a habit of this, but I've been properly busy these last few months. I've officially gone freelance, paying tax and everything (now I'm fully justified in whinging about the government and the state of national services, haha!) I've been working with the Rural Media Company in Hereford again recently working as a footage logger/loader/whatever you want to call it. I've also been doing a lot of work on a documentary, on which I am the Cinematographer. The documentary is a full-length version of the successful short "Contempt of Conscience" by Joe Jenkins, one of the members of the UK-based Peace Tax Seven. We've been shooting for the past few months, now it's a case of plugging various holes and the odd loose end, then hopefully it'll be out on DVD later in the year. As for my own personal projects, they've pretty much been on hold due to finally going Freelance and working on these projects and getting myself out there. As a result of these other projects, the IAZM2 DVD took quite the back seat in my life, but I'm looking to finish that off sometime very soon (I know I keep saying that, I hope this time I can devote the time to it, the project has been a long one in various capacities, so it'll be nice to round it off completely and be done with it ... so I can get on to writing IAZM3, for which I have a whole variety of ideas). In other news, earlier this year "VHS" was shown as part of the Borderlines Film Festival 2007 (under the Viewfinder Film Festival segment) as one of the films to represent indie filmmaking in the Herefordshire area, so that was cool and it got a couple of screenings in and around the county. Finally, if you wanna check out the (really early) teaser for "I Am Zombie Man 3" then make with the clicky-clicky in this general direction: http://media.putfile.com/IAZM3-Teaser-May07 March 7th 2007 (7:22pm): Been a while, but I've been busy. IAZM2 is currently on the brink of completion - the final DVD version as well, which reminds me, the DVD release is forth coming very shortly and will be available via PayPal for a very reasonable price. The DVD will feature: *I Am Zombie Man 2 *Audio Commentary by Zombie Man himself *Making of IAZM2 *Photo Gallery *I Am Zombie Man 1 (alternate render to the one appearing on the Deadlands DVD) *Trapped I'm not sure what I'll do for my next short film, but I have a bunch of ideas already jotted down for IAZM3. In other news, the Deadlands: The Rising DVD is gaining a lot of interest, which is great news as it's a great indie zombie flick. January 2nd 2007 (6:03pm): Happy New Year folks! Hope you all had a cool holiday season. First off, I've decided to stop rounding up the times when I post, I've no idea why I decided to to that before, but now I've changed my mind about it, ha! Anyway - if you go to the woo...er...projects page today you're sure of a moderately proportioned surprise. I've added a page for "Kathy North", a live cabaret performance I filmed with Barry a little while back. A new year, a new schedule page ... a bit sparse, but it's less than 48 hours into the new year! Also - there is now a page for "I Am Zombie Man 2" - the shoot went as planned over the course of the 27th and 28th of December 2006, just scraping in there before the bad weather kicked off, which has persisted since. So it was lucky that our schedules slipped together nicely to allow the filming to take place. I am now in the process of editing (although at the moment that's sticking to audio editing before actual editing of the film itself). I did however cut together an internet only trailer, and you'll find that and some screen caps etc in the project page for "IAZM2". April 2007 - that is when "Deadlands: The Rising" is getting released by Tempe Entertainment (yep, the guys behind "The Dead Next Door"), so pre-order your copy now because I've heard there's quite a lot of people looking forward to getting it as they have brought the release forward a month. I'd like to thank Gary and Brian (Director, Producer and stars of the film) for putting my weird little film on as an extra feature on their DVD for their rather spiffing indie zombie flick, I must say I loved it. November 2nd 2006 (12:15pm): Been a while since the last update, but you'll find the Schedule page has been updated with 3 months worth of info. Also, it's been all go of late. Finally got my hands on a Panasonic DVX100B (hooray!), a major upgrade from my last camera. Also, "VHS" has been accepted to be shown at the Bristol Bloodbath Film Festival on Saturday November 25th, I will be in attendance and plan to film it for posterity (will post the video online of course). More news - "I Am Zombie Man" did really well online with the zombie community over at Homepage of the Dead, so well that: 1) I am preparing to shoot I Am Zombie Man 2 in between Christmas and New Year, with music provided by Gary Ugarek and Brian Wright (Writer/Director/Actor and Producer/Actor of the new indie zombie film "Deadlands: The Rising" - www.playingwithdeadthings.com) and of course, it will be filmed on my new equipment, so it's going to be looking (and sounding) rather swish. 2) The guys behind Deadlands: The Rising really enjoyed "I Am Zombie Man" and Gary asked if I'd like to have the short included on the official DVD release of Deadlands. Obviously, I said hell yes. Expect to see Deadlands on DVD in late Spring 2007 on the Splatter Rampage label by Tempe Entertainment (who, fact fans, distributed The Dead Next Door). I have also submitted "VHS" to BBC Blast On BBC 2, but who knows whether it will get accepted or not, half the time you get the feeling you'll never get accepted to be shown on such things if you haven't made a film through the London Film Academy or similar - what about us little guys!? September 6th 2006 (2:10pm): Updated the Video Clips page, took down all the defunct links to streamline the page (makes it easier to keep the videos online too), but most importantly added the video of "I Am Zombie Man" (fourth one down). Enjoy! August 25th 2006 (7:40pm): Added screen caps to the "VHS" page and added a complete page for "I Am Zombie Man". You will also find "VHS" in the video clips section (third one down), with a running time of 9:30. I finished editing "IAZM" today, so expect to see that online soon. I still haven't gotten around to re-uploading the downed video clips yet, but I've been rather busy of late filming this and that as well as setting up Nelson Six Productions - a videography business I'm getting into, to do documentaries, short films, weddings, corporate videos and so forth. July 31st 2006 (1:20pm): Added screen caps to the "Reverend Pralph" page and added info on the "VHS" page (screen caps to come soon). I will also be uploading "VHS" so expect to find a link to that sometime soon. Also, I've noticed some of the videos in the Video Clips section are currently down, so I will see about re-uploading them again in due course. Also - "Clerks 2" is friggin' awesome, go see it! July 22nd 2006 (6:55pm): Updated my schedule to include all the latest info on just what the hell I've been up to. Also added pages for - "The Murder of the Reverend Pralph", "Making Japanese Edo Kites" and "Inside Hereford's Butter Market" (all were done for BBC Local TV). I will add screen caps to those pages in due course (still waiting on copies from Rural Media on the latter two). Also, "Inside Hereford's Butter Market" was broadcast on the 14th July, "Making Japanese Edo Kites" was too (but nobody told me!) and so was "The Murder of the Reverend Pralph". In other news, I'm currently in the midst of editing "VHS", which has taken me quite some time to get into the swing of I can tell you. Prior to that I had spent a lot of time script writing, so switching from one very specific mindset to a completely different way of working takes a bit of time, but now things are really swinging on the edit of "VHS". It's currently clocking in shorter than I'd originally anticipated, but not by too much, so I've got an idea for an additional scene to add to the film - just need to run it by Knox, as I'd need him to act in that scene. Speaking of Knox, I've got another idea - just a quick, to-have-fun, short - called "I Am Zombie Man". Currently I'm envisioning it as a spoof trailer, but I might extend it to be a very short film. The objective with this idea is to simply just have some fun (rather than taking the filmmaking in a 'super-serial' way like I have been lately), especially as it'll be my last chance to get Knox in front of the camera for quite a long time as he'll be off to join the world of work at the end of the holidays. Finally, the plan on the business front is to get into weddings/corporates/music promos in the Mercia area. It's about time I was earning some damn money. I've already got a wedding and a music promo under my belt with Barry on board, so it's just about getting it together and going - first step package planning and self promotion. As for MCTV, it's still ticking over so it's all good. Anyway, all good things come to those who wait - and I certainly never expected my career to take off quickly, they never do in this line of work. It's all about patience in the end of the day, that and talent ... of course! June 11th 2006 (12:10pm): Been a while, but I've been rather busy of late. Therefore I've updated my schedule and as you'll see plenty has been going on. I'm currently writing the second draft of "Gen Y", the script for my next short film, "VHS", is complete and I'm just fiddling around with story boarding and planning at the moment. Also as you'll see on my schedule, all those "Meeting with Barry Herd" entries can now be explained. Since the beginning of March we've been meeting to discuss and brainstorm setting up our own local television station, currently called Mercia Community Television (but we'll most likely change the name in due course). What we want to do is create a truly local and truly inclusive television station that the whole Mercia area can get involved with. For the past three months or so it's been meeting after meeting after meeting, but we're getting there slowly. There's a long way to go (of course) but we're certainly on the right track. The business plan is in progress and on June 9th we shot the presenter links for a pilot we're putting together - a kind of pilot-cum-promotional video to give the viewer a rough idea of what we want to do and what we want to achieve. In the coming months we'll do more pilots and hopefully get Worcester University involved. So that's what has been going on for the past couple of months, check out the other dates to see what else I've been up to. I'll hopefully have meatier updates for you folk sometime soon, but for now I'm going to concentrate on keeping my hayfever at bay - it was a hideous day for it yesterday. Otherwise I've been on a big old DVD boxset kick - Married With Children: Season Four (finished yesterday) and The A-Team: Season Three, I love it when a plan comes together ... fool! May 3rd 2006 (11:15am): "Coming Home" was broadcast yesterday on BBC Local TV! Annoyingly though, they reformatted the film to 4:3 - even though the BBC themselves asked for 16:9 - so when it was broadcast they had blown it up to become 4:3. It's especially annoying because I'd filmed it all in 4:3, and then faked the widescreen specifically because I was asked to. However, it is in the correct aspect ratio on the Local TV website. The update however is that I myself have hosted "Coming Home" on putfile. Go to the Video Clips page, scroll to the bottom and there you go. It's in the correct aspect ratio and is in a higher resolution than what you'll find on the BBC website. Despite the ratio bugger up, it was cool to finally see something I'd made on TV. Hopefully sometime this month I'll get confirmation of when "Trapped" will be broadcast on Propeller TV - there was a complete bugger up with the forms, that bugger up was Royal Mail. Long story short I filled the damn forms out THREE times before they actually got to Propeller head office. So hopefully I'll be broadcast there soon! Finally, I'm off out filming again this evening. Going with Mike Jackson to get some pick up shots for the "Caring Kids" short film for Local TV. Would have done is sooner, but there haven't been any evenings to go along to because of the Easter holidays. May 2nd 2006 (11:00am): Updated my schedule with info on my two latest excursions filming. Also, from 6pm tonight for 24 hours (or possibly more), my short film "Coming Home" will be broadcast on BBC Local TV. To access Local TV, go to BBC1 and press the red button. From there select Local TV in the menu, and at twenty-past-the-hour, every hour is the Hereford & Worcester 10 minute segment (where my film will be placed). It will also be available on the BBC Local TV website soon, enjoy! Otherwise I've gotten into a rut again in writing my script, it's just finding enough time to be able to properly sit down and work at it, but hopefully I'll get back into it soon as it's sitting at 56 pages currently. I have the next segment planned out and a rough idea of the rest of the story mapped out. I'm also going to start planning/scripting/story boarding a short film I want to film in June or July - I might script two films, but perhaps I'll just do the first idea I have had planned for a while now. April 19th 2006 (8:05pm): Big update today - updated my schedule, and added a bunch of new project pages - Slang, Undead Games Promo, The Green Life, Caring Kids and finally The Blast. I have also linked up to an online copy of my Undead Games Promo video - get there via the video clips page. Otherwise my script is now up to 46 pages, although I haven't written any in the past couple of days, hopefully I've not fallen back into a creative slump! I might have a bit more news to post up sometime quite soon, so keep 'em peeled. April 17th 2006 (10:40am): Added a date to the schedule I forgot about. I know, a tiny update, but nevermind. The good news is after saying I was desperately trying to get back to my script writing I started up again yesterday and bashed off 15 pages. Running at 33 pages now and I will probably write more tonight. The segment I'm working on at the moment has run much longer than I had originally thought, but I've really gotten into writing dialogue over the last few months. So my script is going well - now I need to find the time to fully plan (and write) two short films I'd like to do in June! April 16th 2006 (12:55pm): Been a while since my last update, but I've added a new page - access it through the index - which details my schedule, now that I'm out and about I thought I'd keep folks up-to-date, as well as keep track of my activities for myself too. The info goes back to last summer after I graduated, detailing when all my projects were completed and now what other jobs I'm up to - i.e. working with the Rural Media Company etc. Will be adding another project page soon for all the smaller projects that don't really warrant a full-blown page of their own. Otherwise I'm desperately trying to get back into the swing of script writing (there's always something else to do isn't there?), and am keeping active in the back garden helping out redesign the whole patio area ... next up, building a shed me thinks! March 18th 2006 (2:45pm): Well, a late Happy St Patrick's Day to all your Irish folk ... or people just really into Guiness and large, plush top hats. I've just been fiddling about on here, nothing really all that big, just added a bit of info to my Biography. In other news, last night I was helping film for a live performance DVD for a local band called "The Blast", a rock group, at a local pub out in Ashperton. It was very crowded, very hot and sweaty and very noisy (still reclaiming my hearing), but it was good fun. Barry (whom I know through the Rural Media Company), covered the wide shot from a safe corner while I did the close up coverage while perched on a stool, wedged between the stage lighting, as I got buffeted from behind by a bunch of head-banging teenagers. Still, the band rocked and it was good fun to film a live performance - keeps you on your toes with one eye on the camera screen and one eye on what other action is going on that you can film next. It's amazing how an hour can fly by without you even realising it - great fun, I'd certainly like to do more film jobs like this at live gigs, it's a great atmosphere...though I think I'd have to invest in some ear plugs...it had been a while since I'd been to a gig and I'd forgotten the sensation of muffled hearing, ha! March 17th 2006 (12:10pm): Go to the video clips page and you'll find that "Deathzone", the trailer for "Manhunt Did It", "Sounds of the City" and "See the Other Side" are all now back online for you to view. March 13th 2006 (2:00pm): First off, sorry to anyone getting a 'service temporarily unavailable' type message, that's a downside of Geocities Free - 4mb an hour usage limit, in this past hour I must have been quite popular it seems. So if you do get one of those messages, wait till the next hour and you're back in action - I know, it sucks, but I'm in that limbo state between University and full career where you have no money to spare on things like upgrading a website service *d'oh!*. Anyway, despite that annoyance, I've added a projects page for "Coming Home", my first short film for BBC Local TV made in cooperation with the Rural Media Company (RMC). I am currently working on another one and am also acting as second cameraman on other people's short films for the pilot scheme. Good stuff, eh. February 22nd 2006 (11:40pm): Finally the day has come - "Manhunt Did It" is not only complete but it is now online! Check out the Video Clips page, third one down, and you can view the film in five parts - the film runs for 21 minutes. Also added the definitive, final final final edit of "DeadShed" to the Video Clips page, fourth one down, which features a small re-edit and a 'fully realised visual vibe' ... whatever, go and check it out is what I'm saying. In other news, the project I am working on at the moment is going not-too badly, haven't been able to film the remaining footage as the weather has been so bad recently, but hopefully it'll clear up very damn soon! Also, I'm brainstorming ideas for not one, but two projects - one of course is my 'big writing project' and the other is for a short film I want to make...but I'm not telling anymore than that just yet. Peace out folks, I've got a date with episode 509 of "24"... February 10th 2006 (7:05pm): Updated the "Manhunt Did It" project page with a full write up as well as screen caps. I'll stick it up online soon and obviously go about pimping the link. Otherwise, with MDI over and done with (after 18 months!) it's about time to start on my new project this month, I've been brainstorming the past few days and started writing it, first draft down - still to polish quite a bit obviously - and just this afternoon I was off out filming for it, got some groovy footage, hopefully the camera could cope with the cold!! So I've got a lot of polishing to the text to do and have still got to get some more footage - but I've got a good chunk of it now, noiiice. After I've had a meeting about it then it should just be a case of finishing off writing/filming and then edit it together and boom - onto the next project, which I'm still jotting ideas down for as they come to me. Peace out folks, my sticky "E" key is bugging the crap out of me, damn Robinsons spilling all over the shop! February 5th 2006 (7:40pm): Not an update just yet, but a bit of info nonetheless. Finally, after 18 (or is it 19 now?) months, "Manhunt Did It" is almost finished. Granted, the first 12 of those months was pretty much just waiting for the news to roll in, but over the past six months I've been gathering the majority of footage, getting the last couple of bits of news and of course - writing the script. Over the past month, roughly, I've been busy editing away and today I finally got the whole thing rendered in it's rough format. Now I've got to add more touches to the soundtrack, tweak some of the audio and polish off the visual style of the whole piece. Once that is done, I'll whack it on a DVD and then finally - it'll be done. I figure it should be finished in the next 24 hours, or perhaps 48 and therefore I should have it up online in the next few days. Not looking forward to backing up all the data to DVD though *sigh*, 35 gigs or thereabouts I think... Otherwise, got another project on the go to get sorted out over the next month, going to get thinking about it this coming week - more info on that once it's rolling. Also, I'm going to be getting seriously into writing a proper script to eventually enter into a competition this summer as well as pimp it around various companies looking for scripts. Finally, when I get the time I've got another idea for a summer film project (like "my NIGHTMARE" and "Trapped" - but without the blood) - but it's just an idea at the moment. So, lots on the old plate then! January 5th 2006 (8:00pm): Check out the Video Clips page, scroll to the bottom and you'll find the full, 3-minute cut of "Smack Addict", my short mockumentary produced for the Yamgo.com 2006 Extreme Shorts competition. Also, five of my video clips are temporarily unavailable at the moment - however I am looking into getting my own hosting space to host them myself instead of relying on some free service...although for now I'll stick with a new free service I just found. I'm even thinking of making a DeadShed t-shirt so I can pimp my link on the move... January 4th 2006 (7:30pm): Well, it's certainly been a while - again - but it's been a busy past couple of months. First off though, the updates - "Smack Addict" is now complete, so peep out (as Kevin Smith might say) the project page for that...er...project, to read about it and see some screen caps. I will put up both the two-minute and three-minute versions of the short in due course, but for now some info about what the buggery I've been up to... Obviously, I'm still on the look out for work in the film/tv/video industry, but it certainly isn't easy. I guess Labour forgot to mention that there are no jobs for all those people they're cramming into University ... very clever idea you bunch of morons! Oh you can get work - but only if you want to earn a piffly 16k a year working for a recruiting bureau - oh the irony - you get a job trying to get people like yourself, a flaming job. Fortunately, I have found a way to pay the bills and get more knowledge and experience for my field. I am now a Freelance Research Writer - i.e. I write research essays for ProspectSolution.com on the topic of Film and Television Studies. So I've been busy pumping out some essays - you typically have 5 days to produce a piece of work from scratch - so that includes all the necessary research you have to do and then (duh) write the piece to a guaranteed, pre-determined level (e.g. 2:2, 2:1 etc). So it's quite demanding to whip a good piece of work out of the bag that swiftly, but I've done well and they like my stuff so I'm obviously doing something right! This should provide a good bit of writing experience, especially as I'm keeping the option of writing for a magazine/scriptwriting open. I don't just want to do one thing you see, I'm open to a lot of areas. When I haven't been beavering away on my writing jobs, I've been working on my own indepedent short films. As you now know, "Smack Addict" is complete, so for the past couple of months I've been slowly chipping away at that - going through four drafts of the script, a rehearsal, then filming and editing - today I put the DVD together so all I have to do is backup all the raw data and that project is completely finished. All that will remain is to submit it to Yamgo.com for the 2006 Extreme Shorts competition. Which reminds me, I've submitted "Trapped" to PropellerTV, SKY CHANNEL 289, and I'm just waiting on an official scheduling date, so once I know that I'll pimp out the information as much as humanly possible. So fingers crossed that will go well and then I'll get submitting more of my shorts as well as investigate further avenues of exposure - for my work, not in the cheeky way...you filthy-minded sorts! So now that S.A. is done and dusted, I can finally focus some much-needed attention on "Manhunt Did It". Over the past couple of months I have of course been scripting away on that like mad, and am currently working on the fourth draft as well as listing all the further information/footage I still need to get. *phew* Hope you all had a great Xmas and New Year and here's to 2006. October 24th 2005 (5:00pm): Not a major update, but more to fill you in. I've added a page for a new project I'm working on called "Smack Addict" which is for a competition in 2006, which isn't far off actually - the year's just fly by, and I was only just getting used to writing "2005". I have also added a couple of pics to the "Manhunt Did It" page - proof that I've finally started writing the script for this project! After months and months of following the new stories and setting out ideas I've finally gotten off my ass and I'm writing it! At last! Everytime I've come to write it in the past several months something has come along, be that Uni, graduation, other projects, job seeking or just plain procrastination/writer's block ... or simply because everytime I say I'm done researching something new comes along that I simply cannot ignore. But the line is in the sand now and it's underway in a serious fashion. Otherwise, the HIM album finally turned up, "Land of the Dead" took a little longer than I thought but I still got it over a week early - and they're both still awesome. And was anyone else kind of disappointed by "Man With The Screaming Brain"? October 5th 2005 (8:00pm): Significant update today, check out the video clips page. At the bottom (where generally the new video clips get posted) you'll find "The Uni Video Retrospective". But the even bigger news is that "Trapped" is now online! It's up at the top of the page, just under "my NIGHTMARE". It's split into four parts and clocks in at 14 minutes. Enjoy! Also - Sire Records have royally screwed up the Limited Edition release of "Dark Light" by HIM, so I'm sitting here STILL waiting for it to come into stock. STILL!!! After a week's delay it should have been posted off on Monday, but nope, bugger all so far. I couldn't wait, I just went and downloaded it so I could finally hear it, I've been waiting a good many months to a year for this album, but I'm still buying it, so RIAA - chill the hell out, geez! As for the album, it's freakin' awesome. And good news - my unrated Director's Cut of "Land of the Dead" is being processed/dispatched, 13 days ahead of it's release, just thought I'd share my joy with y'all. September 26th 2005 (3:15pm): The "Trapped" page is now fully updated with a rundown of the film as well as some final screenshots. I have also added the teaser trailer to the video clips page. I will be adding the final film sometime in October when I get a new month's bandwidth allowance! Also, go and see George A. Romero's "Land of the Dead". It's absolutely brilliant and kicks the rotting brains out of pretenders like that flop-o-rama "Resident Evil" duo as well as Zack Snyder's horrid, brainless re-hash of "Dawn of the Dead". I saw GAR's new film opening night, September 23rd here in the UK - the last place on earth to see it...well, except for the Ukraine who have apparently banned it! Roll on the Director's Cut DVD! September 9th 2005 (5:25pm): Added more pictures to the "Trapped" page as well as the latest news on the production. September 2nd 2005 (4:45pm): I have updated my biography page, better pic and better text. I have also added some news to the "Trapped" page and have added a page just for pictures - so as you might have guessed there is now a buttload more pics to have a gander at. In due course I might cut together a trailer for the film and post that online ahead of actually completing the edit, but I'm not sure at this stage. August 27th 2005 (3:40pm): Added a new page for my latest short film - "Trapped". The page also has some on-set pictures. More details and screen caps to come in due course. August 9th 2005 (5:00pm): Another big update today - added pictures for "Sounds of the City", a full page for "GTA: San Andreas 'Mayhem' Promo" and a big old chunk of video clips. Manhunt Did It - Trailer (new version) Echoes Deathzone San Andreas 'Mayhem' Promo Sounds of the City See The Other Side DeadShed (2005 Audio) Shrooms In Nozland (Uni Video 6) July 19th 2005 (9:20pm): A big update today, the page for "Manhunt Did It" has been updated, even though the project is nowhere near completion. There are new pages for "Sounds Of The City", "See The Other Side", "Echoes" and "Deathzone". I have also put together a trailer for "Manhunt Did It", which can be found via the Video Clips page. In other news, I am working on a GTA: San Andreas promo video and have another couple of projects in the thinking/planning stages. June 13th 2005 (1:30pm): As this is my last day in my Uni residence, I'm making the most of broadband and have uploaded some more video clips. There is now a clip for "The Evil Ted" and "Movie Madness". But the best news is that I've put up the entirety of "my NIGHTMARE" split into several parts. All can be found in the "Video Clips" section of course. June 1st 2005 (8:40pm): Six tasty video clips for your delectation, which can be found (unsurprisingly) in the "Video Clips" section. More to come soon. Also coming soon - write ups for the two projects from Documentary Video Production, and more Film course information from this past year. March 4th 2005 (1:40pm): I just came across a place to host video files, thanks to KINGSTOPH over at the White Rabbit forum who has hosted his short film "Beer of the Dead". I have put up "DeadShed" for you all to view, which can be found through the following URL, please right click and "open in new window": http://putfile.com/media.php?n=DeadShed Additional - I have now added a new page entitled "Video Clips" (unsurprisingly) where you can now also find two scenes from "my NIGHTMARE". In time I will add more clips, but for now, enjoy what's up now! February 11th 2005 (10:20pm): I was actually supposed to be adding more "Zombie References" to New Dimensions, but I logged in here by habit. So I might as well spread some knowledge. 1) Documentary Production - we finished our first project yesterday! Two weeks of filming and a week of editing to trim 90 minutes of stuff down to a lean, mean 5 minute machine. The topic of our piece - buskers in Norwich. It's looking good, so hopefully we'll get a good mark for it, but it's allowed us to use some higher spec cameras as well as fancy tripods and sound equipment. It has also allowed me to finally get to grips with the Avid editing 'style'. We were using Avid MCXpress (which is about 7 years old I think - typically they're upgrading NEXT YEAR, they only have one computer using either Avid Xpress DV or Xpress Pro). But Avid is essentially the same from one form to the next, so it was great to sit down and have the use of an editing suite for a whole week. 2) I just got hold of "Disintegration" by The Cure, and damn, it really is a friggin' great album, so go out and get that album people! It's a must have! OK I'm gonna shut up now and go update New Dimensions like I was supposed to! January 19th 2005 (5:25pm): First things first, Happy New Year to one and all! The nation's hangovers should be cured by now! Right, updates: 1) "The Uni Video 6" project page has been completed, info and pics ahoy-hoy! 2) "my NIGHTMARE" DVD details found at the project page/the film - film description actually WORKS now!!! 3) Started a page for "The Uni Video Finale", a sad day indeed. 4) The link to New Dimensions is actually working now! In other news: I haven't gotten around to "Manhunt Did It" yet, the lure of Christmas-time relaxation and mounds of food got the better of me after a long hard slog getting all that Uni work out of the way. Speaking of which, the horror dissertation is done and handed in, everybody give me positive vibes that I get a good mark! But I plan on getting the Manhunt project done sometime! Probably for the best, this way I get the Documentary Production course under my belt before I actually make one myself, it will also allow me to get any further news/research related to the topic under scrutiny. You'll all be pleased to know I got a 2:1 on my Swingers/Shaun of the Dead essay for my Gender & Genre course from last semester, hazah! Hopefully I did just as well on my Media & Cultural Theory course! As for this semester, it is all about Documentary Production, Film Noir and Canadian & Quebecois Cinema, hoo-hah! Once the final Uni Video is done and dusted, I think I will put together a DVD containing every single Uni Video (that will be VHS Redux plus all those that followed - 3 through 7). It'll be nice to have the entire saga, the entire documentation of my experience at University on one disc, mmm baby. Nothing else to report, laterz people! November 17th 2004 (8:25pm): Been a while, but then again I've been very, very busy here at University, third and final year after all. But I've added a page for a project I've got in the works by the working title of "Manhunt Did It", find it in the projects section. In other news: 1) Listen to "Cathedral", they rock - I saw them as support act to HIM when they came to my Uni on 19th October, we got to meet them on the way out too, they were handing out stickers, so we got to tell them they rocked. 2) I've got a lot on the old academic plate at the moment. An essay talking about 'homosociality' in film, another discussing violent video games (Manhunt specifically - see the tie in there?) and of course, the dreaded dissertation - I'm writing on horror movies, so on one hand it's cool, on the other hand it's yet more thousands of words for the pile. But come Christmas I'll have all this either done and handed in or be polishing it up right nice. 3) Then when I get that all out of the way I'll be able to concentrate on making my documentary on Manhunt, as well as finishing off Uni Video 6 and of course whipping up a DVD for "my NIGHTMARE". October 14th 2004 (12:50pm): Two new links - Slice & Dice Productions, Beer of the Dead - check them out. October 13th 2004 (7:25pm): I've updated the "Vice City" page with both screen caps and a run down! Also, I've started getting my links page on the go, so if you want to banner exchange with me, let me know by email (contact details found on the index page - note this is not my usual email address; I'm trying to keep spam free at my private address, so bear with me if I don't respond straight away). Anyway, first link is up - the White Rabbit Films community where (among a number of forums) there is a forum for DeadShed Productions - I've still got to use it properly though! Anybody read "Nuts"? Now that's a quality mag to read on the toilet! Perfect student fodder! (Random I know, but it's sitting on my bed, so I thought I'd mention it - it's a UK lad's weekly mag). October 11th 2004 (12:50pm): The "my NIGHTMARE" page is now complete - you can now read the full rundown of my debut horror film! Also added - pages for "Uni Video 6" and "Vice City: A Day In The Life Of Tommy Vercetti", the latter of which was completed a couple of weeks ago - expect to see screen caps and a rundown of the Vice City short sometime soon. Now on another topic, I just saw on the news that some nutter wants to mess with time itself! He wants to bugger around with how far we move our clocks forward or back when the clocks change! From what I caught of it, his plans would plunge Scotland into darkness until 9:45am (that's if they decided to join the idea) - if Scotland say "fuck that you stupid moron" and keep the space-time-continuum in check, this would mean Scotland would have it's own time zone! The Labour government really are a bunch of lunatics! First they want to ban violent games (which is utter bullshit - but I've ranted about that enough today already over at the HOTD forum), now they want to fuck up time itself! You can't mess with time! It's been like this for as long as anyone can remember, people have put up with the dark mornings and nights at this time of year - because afterall, it's not the end of the world! So why do they suddenly think they'd better change it - for the love of sanity people, vote Labour OUT in the next election - they've fucked our country up enough as it is. Sorry to any Labour supporters reading this, but it's true - I'm not saying any other party is better than this, 99% of politicians are out-of-touch wastes of space. I'm still sighing at a reporter speaking about this whole downloading issues saying "Kazza" instead of "Kazaa". But this whole downloading issue - don't get me ranting on that either, or I'll be here all day and miss my seminar in 2 hours! October 7th 2004 (2:40pm): Finally, I'm getting my ass in gear on the "my NIGHTMARE" page. I have now added screen captures from the film - enjoy! I will soon have a full blown description of the film and the process of its creation too. In other news - "my NIGHTMARE" was finished on schedule. What happened was that my camera went on the fritz - I believe it was the actual mechanism which operates the tape etc - so that when I captured the footage there was constant and heavy interference, rendering it un-useable. Therefore I had to find somebody who still had an analogue camera - I eventually found a guy who did, a local celebrity of all people by the name of Ian Ashpole (famous for tightrope walking between two hot air baloons) and thus my film was saved. The footage was captured and I dove into finishing off the editing. This only took my a few days as I was so eager to finish my film! I'm very proud of the final product, 3 months well spent I say! And very special thanks to my two actors - Gareth and Emma - without them I wouldn't have a film at all. Thanks for letting me soak you in blood! Also - I have made a little video-game-promo-style short called "Vice City: A Day In The Life Of Tommy Vercetti". I will get some screen captures and a full run down of that to you all sometime soon as well! And - Uni Video 6 is obviously underway. Lots of classic student hi-jinks going on, it's shaping up to be the best Uni Video ever! Finally - I'm back at Uni for my final year now. Just finished Week 3...which is a scary thought. All in all it's going very well, just a matter of getting used to new lecturers and new subjects. So until next time you little monkeys... August 24th 2004 (8:35pm): I have added a page for Production Stills from the filming of "my NIGHTMARE". This can be found linked to from the page for the film. I now also have a forum over at White Rabbit Films, but I'll post a link there soon. I've been online too long now and my eyes are going all funny, so I'll get that link up shortly. Also, I'm having some technical difficulties with Day 3's footage as my camera has packed up, so I have gotten a guy to do it for me, he will capture the footage and put the data onto discs for me so I can then transport it over to my computer and finally edit the film! However, in the meantime (I should hopefully get the footage back all in good order later this week), I can partially edit the film and have it ready to stick in the new shots. Everybody cross their fingers so I don't need to do a re-shoot for that day's footage. But it does seem I'm going to have to get a new camera. The people who made my camera said they could take a look at it, but it'd cost 125 - so I royally said "fuck that" and have decided the money would be put to much better use on buying a MiniDV camera and getting upgraded once and for all. At least, this is what I'm looking at for the moment. So I guess it's camera research time...oh yay, oh yay. Damn my back is hurting, I've gotta get a proper posture on this damned computer chair. Now, time to go you little monkeys! August 12th 2004 (7:45pm): I have added a new page to the projects section - one for a little thing I was keeping quiet until utter completion. My entry for the Nokia Shorts Competition 2004 - "Decay". It is actually tougher to make a good 15 second film than you might initially think, and despite being insanely short, you can still keep some meaning behind it all when you think about it. So check out my full run down on my entry as well as screen captures which detail every single shot of the project. Also there is more news on the "my NIGHTMARE" page. August 10th 2004 (7:25pm): The "Digital" page has been updated with screen captures from the actual film. Also, the "my NIGHTMARE" page has been updated with the latest news on the project which has moved from pre-production to in-production now. August 5th 2004 (7:15pm): The "Digital" as well as "Then & Now" (About Me) segments have been updated with new content concerning my newly edited and finished film "Digital". I know, it's finally done! Also, the "Essays" link has become "University" (which is now where "Essays" is linked from). Why you ask? Well because I will be doing a run down of the courses I have taken so far at UEA and what sort of things I have learnt from them, that's why! August 1st 2004 (7:15pm): I have added a guestbook (finally!) to the index page - I knew there was something I'd forgotten to put up. Content wise, I've added more to the "About Me" section, a whole bit about my style. July 25th 2004 (7:50pm): Ah, back from the party with 4 hours sleep and finally ready to put up a new section! The "Biography" link has become "About Me" in which you can still find my biography, but also a new section called "Inspirations". In this segment, I have detailed a series of directors etc and explained why they are of inspiration (duh) to me. I should be adding some images to these pages in due course (just to brighten things up a little), but not just yet. In other news, I am looking into this ".com" thing for the site. Now I think it's time I caught up with that X-Rated Music Video thing from last night that I recorded! July 24th 2004 (5pm): I have added some pre-edit screen captures for "Digital". The link can be found on the film's project page. I would have had this film captured and edited by now, but due to technical issues I haven't been able to get it done - however I hope to get the ball rolling again on this project very soon (as long a certain website would hurry the hell up! 2 to 3 days my ass!). Anyway, time for a house party and some beers - laterz! July 20th 2004 (7pm): The script for "my NIGHTMARE" is now finished and I'm getting it sent out to the people I've got involved. The next step is fixing my camera, get "Digital" into the editing process and start making fake blood - so far I'm gonna look at 3 different ways for 3 different uses. All in all I think "my NIGHTMARE" will be a great film! I'm really looking forward to making it! July 18th 2004 (11:30pm): No new content today, but I thought I'd post a general update. I have finally gotten into writing the script for "my NIGHTMARE". I still have "one encounter and the finale" to do as I've been calling it as I while away my time talking to myself like a true loonatic filmmaker. Anyway...the script is underway and I'm even doing storyboards for it too - and it's been a long time since I've drawn, so they look "shit" to me, but probably won't be quite as "shady" to the casual viewer - at least it'd be an interesting piece of content - providing I can get my scanner to work that is! Oh yeh, speaking of technology...my camera has been playing up, I'm hoping it's just in need of a jolly good head-cleaning - it's never had a head cleaning and if you don't clean the heads it effects the picture - so I'm praying long and hard that this is the reason everytime I capture stuff I get a kind of interferance on the video which then both fucks up the synchronicity and/or frames (dropped frames lick balls). So anyway, I'm hoping my order for Tape City gets here tomorrow so I can friggin' well get on with capturing all the footage I have hanging around waiting to be edited for "Digital" as I really must get it done dagnammit! And with the amount of footage I end up filming, it's a good thing I ordered some more tapes!!! Perhaps I will get into writing the "3rd encounter" bit of the script for "my NIGHTMARE" tonight, unless I get lazy - I've been cleaning out my cupboard all day today - damn there was a lot of stuff in there! July 13th 2004 (6:50pm): The "Uni Video: VHS Redux" page has been updated with a full description and some more pictures, ooh you lucky monkeys! Did anyone see "101 Things Removed From The Human Body"? Damn that was weird...next week's "101 Things To Do When You're Dead" sounds and looks even sicker. I wonder if I can stomach it? July 8th 2004 (7:50pm): The "My Nightmare" page has been updated with a section featuring many screen captures from the location scouting and shot blocking session I had with my movie lead Gareth around his area of Llangarron, a few miles from the Welsh border. I got a good 40 minutes of footage detailing various locations around the area, and after reviewing the footage, I can certainly use some of it in the final film! So it's crazy, but a film without a script as yet has already begun shooting...so to speak! In other news, "Uni Video: VHS Redux" is well into the editing stage, I got a fair amount of stuff edited into its final form today, there is basically 3 more segments to do, but these are the biggest segments...doh! But that will be done soon, so expect a few more pics and a full description soon! Then perhaps I can get the location footage for "My Nightmare" fiddled around with in various ways that only I can make sense out of at this moment...and then of course...*sigh*...the epic capturing session and of course - EDIT - of "Digital", which has been "in the can" (so to speak) for a good couple of weeks by now! July 4th 2004 (7:30pm): The "DeadShed" page has been updated with a full description and lots of lovely pictures! The "Uni Video: VHS Redux" page has also been updated with some pictures, but as it is still only at the editing stage, I don't have a description for it yet...but soon I will. I have also added a links page which features my banner and info about linking. And thank heavens for Adobe Premier, I have finally been able to capture the VHS original edits of Uni Video 1 and 2 without any loss of picture quality or audio/visual synchronicity like I was before - it was doing my head in and it would have taken ages to individually and manually re-synch every single shot. I'm just glad this isn't a regular process for my projects! It's just a shame that the files are so damned big! It would appear there's still a lot of fiddling to do with those settings me thinks! But I've got my way around it for now and it'll certainly do. Ah, the joys of editing...er...yeh. And finally, I have been in further discussions about "My Nightmare" with prospective cast, I have 2 secured and it would appear that I have just secured another member of cast which is good. I might still be on the look out for a 3rd female star, but I don't want to give away the plot! Further ideas have been floating around and some preliminary location scouting has been conducted, further helping shape the script. July 1st 2004 (7:40pm): The "Dawn of the Apocalypse" page has been updated with the 3 posters made for this film that was never filmed. It was scheduled to have been filmed in June 2003, but for various reasons it all fell through. Also, the status for "Digital" has been updated and "Digital" was completed last night, expect screen captures and a full run-down very shortly. Finally, there is now a page for "Uni Video: VHS Redux". And damn it, Velvet Revolver absolutely rock-ass! Go out and listen to this band, they're fucking tasty. The band features Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots and coolest of all - Slash, Duff and Matt Sorum from Guns n Roses. This band is friggin' awesome, so go and check them out. Get the "digipak" edition of their album too, then you get extra stuff! It's also 100% gravy to have these guys slammin' hard out your car stereo, now there's a way to destroy the peace and tranquility of the countryside! June 29th 2004 (7pm): The "Digital" page has been updated with two versions of the cover art for this film. Also, there is now a "My Nightmare" page with information and also two versions of the film's cover art. I have also started a page for "DeadShed", there isn't much information on it, but as I am currently in the editing stage, it'll be done soon and then there will be lots of lovely text and screen captures! Ooh you lucky monkeys! June 28th 2004 (7:15pm): The "Movie Madness", "Rob Zombie Music Video" and "Back In The Day" project pages have been updated with images. In other news, I am finally ready to film the online conversation segment for my short film "Digital", I just wish this family desktop had more processing power to make the frame rate of SnagIt! captures smoother, but oh well, I'm thinking I will also film it off the screen and cut between the two. Maybe even film portions of the actual screen stuff too, just to get another layer of lovely screen flicker, muahahaha! June 27th 2004 (8pm): Just thought I'd do a bit of an update as to my goings on... "Digital" is still in production, I now have a good 50 minutes of raw footage to have a play with when it comes to editing, the "conversation" section of the film hasn't been filmed yet, it's gonna have to be filming the computer screen I think (unfortunately), all the software I try to capture your desktop in video doesn't work! ARGH! But I was kinda wanting that flicker anyway, but I'll film as much screen stuff as possible from my laptop's TFT monitor which takes kindly to my camera. But the whole screen flicker thing isn't a big issue to me as it was always intended from the beginning, I just got thinking that it'd be nice to be able to use software that I could capture stuff from the screen...the main reason for that was an idea I had for making a music video using footage from the EXCELLENT PC game "Painkiller", but that was buggered nicely thanks to it slowing the gameplay down to a stupid amount which effected the final video...damnit. Anyway, "Digital" is definately underway. Other projects: "The Uni Video: VHS Redux" - this will be a 'best of' and significant re-edit of footage from the first two Uni Videos to make one video out of it all, include some new footage I'd forgotten to use elsewhere and also allow me to further explore my love of music video style editing...you see, the Uni Videos are edited like a music video...a very long music video, lol! "DeadShed" - this is the 'crime-scene-esque' exploration of our shed back in Norwich as I was speaking of before. I have started seeking out what music from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003...and perhaps the original too) that I want to use - I will also do another version with a generic incidental music/sound effects to possibly send off to a mate of mine in America who is planning a horror compilation...speaking of which... "My Nightmare" - I'm yet to script this one, but I am planning to make a horror short. There'll be some traditional horror gender-role-reversal going on as well as being a film of the "horror after the horror" as I've been touting it of late over at the White Rabbit Films Forum. I'm currently seeking out actors to be in it (I think my Ross crew will help me out readily it seems...I hope...especially as they'll get to kill each other amidst lots of lovely blooooooood!). Anyway, just wanted to let the world wide web know of what I'm up to/going to be up to in the coming couple of months. Site wise, there's more screen captures to come eventually, in fact, I might go and do some capturing now...I still have time before Big Brother...which reminds me, it's good to see they've brought in a new housemate...a girl too...who's fit as well, it was fantastic to see the look on Michelle's stupid selfish "cellulite bitch" face (to quote herself insulting Vanessa, who was fit...I miss her) anyway...good to see a new fit femme in the BB house, it's all go this series! June 26th 2004 (8pm): Finally, some more screen captures are up in the projects section, I think it's about time I opened up this site me thinks, there's still images to come and more content of course, but no point in keeping it shut for much longer, so today the site for DeadShed Productions opened! Hazah! And have you seen Takashi Miike's "Visitor Q"? Goddamn that's a fucked up film! June 22nd 2004 (11pm): Another project page is up, now all I need to do there is whack up a bunch of pictures I captured this afternoon. After renaming each one individually *yawn* I thought "fuck it" to converting them too, so that's for tomorrow. Unless I get bogged down in trying to capture some old VHS footage (my personal VCR isn't 100% compatible with my computer, so perhaps one of these here VCRs at home will work). And what the hell is it with Halloween: Resurrection anyway? Why do they need to add these little bits of so-called 'history' to the whole story. Now it seems Michael was treated badly as a kid, tortured and shit, at least that's what the film seems to be suggesting. Back in the original (and best) Halloween, the Myers family were just nice folks who happened to have a son who went skitz at 6 years old...that's scarier. The monster just appears in someone, instead of being bred into them (as it usually seems to be in real life). I guess I'd better go and start converting those images! June 22nd 2004 (2am): I have been working heavily on the site for a few days now and it's coming together really well. The main focus of the site - the projects section - is almost complete (one page remains to be done and after that I'll go about gathering screen caps for pages without pics!). Now my eyes hurt, my back aches, my ass is killing me on this chair and my neck is still sore on the left side after 3 days! And why the hell did "Breakthrough Female" go to Lindsay Lohan instead of Jessica Biel at the MTV Movie Awards 2004! That's just plain retarded...did they not SEE the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre!? Geez! That's right...Ms Biel is purdy...*ahem*...yes, the website is coming along nicely. No set date for opening, I'll probably just find I'm pretty much done and say "to hell with it" and just plain open the site. Which randomly reminds me...I sorted myself out with a nice, pretty logo today (that's my arm in the logo too), so nobody chaff it! Oh yes, "Digital" is now officially 'in production'. Filming is probably about 35% complete now (accurate aren't I?), there's still the online conversation to film (I'm still looking for a certain piece of software though!) and a whole bunch of close ups that will come in handy during editing. I'm looking to have it completed by the end of the summer holidays. I think it's time for a drink... |
