| Your group will: 1. Identify which group member will research and report on each specific topic (Women, Education, Prison and Abolition). Group members may choose to work on two topics simultaneously to allow for collaboration. 2. Identify which products each group will produce and the additional roles each team member will fill while working in your team (Editor, Videographer, Script Writer, Computer Technician, Historian or Artist Layout). 3. Research and begin to put your information and conclusions into outline or draft form. Use a graphic organizer such as Inspirations to help you organize your information. 4. Work as a team to answer the main questions: What was the cause of the specific reform movement? and, What was the legacy of each reform movement? 5. Because this is a group effort, each individual must contribute to the final product and consensus must rule rather than the Senior Editor making all the decisions. 6. After your presentations, the group will be graded by the class as a whole and each individual will be graded by the group they are working with. |
