The WebQuest targets 7th grade students studying World History/Social Studies. The California Standard that applies is 7.6.6, "Discuss the causes and course of the religioys Crusades and their effects on the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish populations in Europe, with emphasis on the increasing contact by Europeans with cultures of the Eastern Mediterranean world."
Additionally, I hope students learn to consider the perspective of others as they study history (and go through life) and not to just accept what they are told.
I have planned approximately ten 50 minute periods to complete this project. Once my students actually complete the webquest, I will update this site with more accurate information.
