I am currently a Senior at DCHS. I have been the principal Baritone player since I was in the 6th grade. (not very hard when I was the only baritone player in 6th, 8th, and the latter half of the 9th grade)
I have been in Marching Band for all four years of my High School Career. I performed in the Concert band for two years, and have been performing in the Wind Ensemble since it's premier year.I played in All District Honor Band in 2006. I also performed in the Pit Band for the School Musical, Oklahoma!, during 2006. Last year I was also anchor for the Danville Morning Powwow. I look forward to being Section Leader for the Baritones and Tubas in 2007-08.
Jordan Branch:
Jordan Branch is currently a Sophomore at DCHS. He was first chair baritone through 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. He has been in Marching Band for 1 year and the Wind Ensemble for 1 year also. I look forward for a great Marching Season in which he can learn and mature into a better low brass player, and eventually Section Leader.
Alex is a Freshman at DCHS. He played baritone throughout middle school. He will be in his first year marching at DCHS. He has been actively involved in cross country, swimming, soccer, and student council.
Marc is currently a Senior at DCHS. Marc was principal Trombonist from 6th-8th grade, and 2nd chair trombone in 10th and 11th grade wind ensemble. He was also principal baritone of the DCHS Symphonic band, presiding over Maria Dinsmore and Elizabeth Christie. Marc will be first chair trombone and Trombone Section Leader. Marc Michels marched Trombone in 9th, 10th, and 12th grade Marching Band and Baritone in 11th grade. Marc was a performer in the Danville Winter Ensemble in 2005. Marc is currently in the Jazz Band and both concert bands. He was also in the Pit Band as 2nd Trombone during Oklahoma!.
