Review: Capsule Corp's New Jet   By Z Trunks

The buzz around the new top secret testing grounds for Capsule Corp. was incredible. Everything was set for the Capsule Jet #734 to begin its first test since construction. Bulma and Dr. Briefs were kind enough to show me around the new testing grounds, which were recently completed last month. After eating some rice and fish at the new cafeteria, we headed for the security building to actually get inside the complex. Trunks, head of the Capsule Corp Security team, quickly informed me that I was not allowed inside the complex with any sort of photographic equipment. Me, being scared as hell from even looking at the guy, was quick to forfeit my equipment.

Once inside Dr. Briefs showed me the Research and Development building where several top-secret vehicles and other such implements of destruction were being put through their paces. We exited the R&D center and walked over to the hangar where #734 was being gassed and prepped for take-off. It was a site to see, the wingspan of the plane looked to me to be about 150 feet. It's large cockpit only seated one, but it left him in comfort. While I'm not clear on all the exact details (Dr. Briefs wouldn't let me in on the official specs.), I'm almost positive I saw a refrigerator and hot dog roaster inside. The new jet is capable of speeds that near the speed of light, and if it were able to be put into space, it would reach this threshold. But it's body work is not yet capable of being put through the rigors of spaceyet.

As the aircraft rolled onto the runway, its three massive jet engines began to roar, massive yellow-blue plumes sprang from the jet nozzles. It's brakes wear released and it hurtled down the runway at an unbelievable speed. It lifted off the ground and went almost completely vertical lifting into the sky like a huge blazing dragon. Its red paint job with Capsule Corp. emblazoned on the side added to the effect. After a few minutes, it could be seen as a tiny spec dancing around the clouds. The test only lasted about 10 to 15 minutes, after all, it was only a preliminary testing. Once landed, the plane was checked over a couple of times to make sure no cracks were in the body from the stress of its first flight, then it was sent to the hangar to be re-fueled and prepped for a second testing the next day.

After chatting with Dr. Briefs about whether he planned to have the jet revamped for space flight (he told me that he did want to remodel it and asked that I come back when it is ready), I left the complex, making an extra special point to thank Trunks for returning my equipment to me. So be looking for another article soon on the space version of this jet.

No matter how strong Gokou becomes, he will still have to deal with the overwhelming power that resides in his very own home: his wife, Chi-Chi. Gokou can become the Legendary Super Saiya-jin, defeat the villainous Frieza, and return to Earth still in one piece, but he will always have to dread returning home to face Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi has only one major ability, the power to control men. Kuririn, Gohan, Gokou, Kame-sennin...they all bow to the might that is Chi-Chi. It is my humble opinion that Gokou's real reason for staying away from Earth so long after defeating Frieza, was Chi-Chi. Gohan leaves with Kuririn and Bulma to go to Namek, and she's not too happy about that. Then Goku leaves her to join them on Namek, and they are gone for months. Personally if I had a wife like Chi-Chi I wouldn't come back after leaving like that for quite some time. Even Kuririn can't escape the wrath of Chi-Chi. He is so petrified of her that he can't even break her the news after Goku dies and Gohan is kidnapped. Although telling someone that their husband is dead and that the sworn enemy of her husband has kidnaped her only son, isn't too pleasant of a job. Kame-sennin ends up telling Chi-Chi instead, but lucky for him she fainted before she went on her rampage. To sum things up, Chi-Chi is one powerful woman who wont take crap from anyone. I do kinda think the fact that she can tell her own father off and not get anything back from him shows her strength and (ability to make a BIG impression and get her way). Goku, the battle weary warrior, won't receive a nice meal and hot bath when he gets home, but a good, long lecture from his wife.
