Thunder roaring, earth shaking, and lightning cracking. Most people would call this a horrifying thunderstorm, but to Furiza, it was much much worse. While in the midst of the destruction of the once peaceful planet Namek., perhaps one of the greatest legends in the Northern Galaxy if not the entire universe appeared, the legendary Super Saiya-jin.

Gokou, a Saiya-jin sent to conquer Earth as an infant, was fighting a villainous Furiza on Planet Namek for control of the wish-giving Dragonballs and the safety of his dear friend and son. After a vicious Genki Dama attack, the Z Soldiers of Earth had thought the bout was done, but it had only taken an intermission, as Furiza appeared from the desolate crater in an attempt to destroy the low-class Saiya-jin. Through a valiant save by the Namekian, Piccolo, Gokou�s life was spared almost at the cost of the courageous Piccolo. Furiza sealed his fate when he wrongfully imploded Goku�s great long-time pal, Kuririn. This fateful mistake sent the peaceful warrior from Earth into a rage, in which, amidst all the carnage, the Super Saiya-jin was born.

Demanding that his son, Gohan, take the near-fatal Piccolo back to his ship, the enraged Gokou vows that he will avenge the death of Kuririn and rid the universe of the plague called Furiza. For more on the epic battle, stay tuned to later issues...

Blast from the Past: Gokou meets Oolong the Terrible By Z Soldier

As a child traveling with the teenage airhead, Bulma, Gokou comes upon a village that supposedly has a Dragonball. But the village is plagued by a hideous shape changing monster named Oolong. Disguised as the shaman�s daughter, Gokou confronts the terrible Oolong only to find that he really isn�t the monster that he appears to be. After some trash talking, Oolong transforms into a bull only to run off outside of town.

The monster returns five minutes later to take the daughter, but Goku finds him. Transforming into various flying objects, he attempts to escape Gokou, who maintains chance upon the Kintoun. After five minutes of chase, Oolong transforms into his original shape, a perverted little pig. Oolong leads the townspeople to his home where he shows them their spoiled kidnapped daughters.
