 The Concepts

2003 BAP Fortissimo

The colors are new, details are new, and the wing has been re-shaded. Upon a recommendation, the highlights were removed from the previous version of the wing, thus making it look lots less tacky. Any ideas would be quite helpful.

Fortissimo - Very Loud

2001 BAP Vivacé

This is a concept that's been very long in the making and I don't think it will be finished any time soon. As you can see it really needs help with some shading all over. Every automaker needs a supercar, and here is the BAP version. Little has been revealed about the concept, only that there are two seats, one engine in the middle, a six-speed close ratio transmission, and some rather wild bodywork. Power comes from the same 7.4 liter V8 as in the Regal Type 1, but instead of supercharging it's aspirated by twin turbos, thus pushing the power curve down into a region accessable not only on the track but on the street as well.

**Designing Notes**
When I first saw the overhead shot of the 2000 Stola S81 Concept I knew I needed to make one. Being an inexperienced automaker, I started with a scan. That turned out to be a terrible idea, so that was quickly scrapped. The beast you see here is about as close to the original shape as I could get it. The major differences are the altered scoops on both the front and the rear, and the width has been increased by several pixels. The difficulty in finishing the shading lies mostly in the roof. It's so rounded I'm really not quite sure what to do with it. However, with the ideas I've gained with the Rigaudon and Chaconnne all is not lost. Who knows, there might be a Vivace circulating relatively soon.

As always, when cars are the game, musical terms are the name. Vivacé means "very fast". That's about it.

2001 Saab 9X Type R

Why in the world is my first car a concept? Simple. The first version of this car was so incredibly lacking in the areas of shape, shading, highlights, color, and everything else that it's getting a complete rework. I don't even think I have the original ZIP file for the first version. The fact of the matter is, the Saab 9X Concept was certainly deserving of GTA reproduction, so I'm working on making it better. The picture you see here is of the second version. The only main differences between the shape of this and the shape of the original like in the hood. The original had a split scoop. As you can see, the major thing that still needs finished is the body highlights, deltas, and an interior upgrade. Maybe soon.
