Hello, my name is Bruce Sellers. I am creating this page to introduce you to my ancestors. I have been doing family research since January 1995.
I became intersted in genealogy when my Father Wilbur Simeon Sellers could not tell me about his grandparents. He never knew them. Their names were Heman N. Sellers and Phylema Minerva Pickard.
Heman's family migrated from Decatur County Indiana to Clark County Illinois, where Heman and Phylema died. Heman in 1872, and Phylema in 1875. The Pickard family came from Chautauqua County, New York, to Decatur County Indiana.
My mother was Vesta Louise Loudenback, the daughter of Wallis Cleo Loudenback and Loma Ethyl Estell.
The Loudenback family migrated from Germany to Pennsylvania, Virginia, Fayette County Indiana, Hancock County Indiana, and finally settled in Henry County Indiana. Phillip Loudenback and Mary Buswiller were my Great, Great, Great, Great Grandparents that settled in Fayette County.
The Estell family came from New Jersey to Albermarle County Virginia to Scott County, Kentucky , to Henry County, Indiana. Daniel Webster Estell and Lillie Myrtle Jones were my great grandparents. They lived in Henry County, Indiana.
My parents grew up in Henry County, Indiana as did my sister and I.
This site will be under construction as a work in continuous process. I am planning on linking my site with other pages that might have common surnames as well as some of the counties that my ancestors lived in.
