The Dragonballs are smooth, round spheres which are created by the Namekians. There are 3 types of Dragonballs (Earth's dragonballs, Namek's dragonballs and the Black Star dragonballs). There are 7 Dragonballs in each set, and when the 7 are brought together, the person who found them can call upon a dragon to come out and grant wishes. Earth's Dragonballs: Earth's Dragonballs are the smallest of all, and were created by Kami when he was young. Whist Kami was the guardian of Earth, the Eternal Dragon was only able to grant one wish. But after Kami reunited with Piccolo, Dende was made guardian of Earth and the dragonballs we useless, but then Dende turned one of Mr. Popo's dragon models into the new eternal dragon and gave it the power to give 2 wishes, but the wishing power would be weaker. Namekian Dragonballs: Namek's Dragonballs are the same as Earth's Dragonballs, but they are much larger. The Namekian Dragon is much bigger than that of Earth's Dragonballs and has the power to grant 3 wishes and bring a person back to life more than once, unlike Earth's Eternal Dragon. The Namek Dragon can only be awakened if someone calling upon it speaks in Namekian. Black Star Dragonballs: These are only known of in DBGT. Near the beginning of DBGT, Pilaf gets all of them tries to wish for eternal life, but Goku appears and accidentally turns Goku into a kid. Goku, along with Chibi Trunks and Pan, leave on a journey around the universe to collect these Dragonballs. The Black Star Dragonballs, as you can imagine, are black and more powerful than the other Dragonballs, and the only other thing that i know about these dragonballs are that their dragon is big and red. |
