BREN LIGHT MACHINE GUN

The Main British lmg of the war, based on a Czech design. The Mk IV was used in 1940, and on well into the 1950s. It was not as good as the German mg. 42 eqqivalent, with half the rate of fire, but was more accurate, lighter and a good gun nonetheless. By 1943, these guns formed the core of the British army. Their main problem was eating through the ammunition fairly quickly.
